I don't understand this. Cryptocurrency, is made to rely on a network of nodes owners, that have conflicting interests. If the network, is owned by someone, then the blockchain, can be altered anytime. There is no trust in an owned network.

We cannot conclude it too early. I still have no idea about it for now. But I can say that Facebook cannot make all crypto coins to be influenced by its coin. For example like Bitcoin, Bitcoin will always continue to grow and unstoppable. Even if there are many new altcoins but its existence never dropped.
