    This makes total sense to me. We have already seen the willingness of people to wear simple monitoring devices like fit bit to collect and analyse their own data. Moving forwards I can see devices monitoring many more parameters and like you say the collection of all this data will allow things like big data and machine learning to look for patterns and correlations that could lead to new findings in medicine.

    This really is the future of medicine, the doctor may be calling you before you even realise anything is wrong!
