I don't think the new SEC Chairman will make this situation any better, as the SEC's stance is still very clear on the XRP token's problem.
Currently there are many exchanges that have unlisted XRP, liquidity has decreased, chances of recovery for XRP are very low.
I personally don't think XRP is a potential cryptocurrency, not even a cryptocurrency when it is centrally managed by Ripple. It should be a solution to the wave of CBDCs of central banks.
