  • Attackers Demand $1 Million Ransom In Bitcoin From Council Owned Company In The UK

    Hackers recently sent a ransom note to Kent Commercial Services, a company that is owned by the Kent County Council in the UK. They demanded to be paid an 800K GBP, which is around $1 million, ransom in Bitcoin or they would leak private data online.

    And I am sure that the amount can be negotiable. I wish they can be making a documentary record on this one so we can see the inside dynamics of an organization served with ransom to be paid by Bitcoin. Or maybe  there should be a group that can track these hackers once the amount is paid because BTC is not actually anonymous and its movement can be seen by all.
