Are Bitcoin Dips Before A Halving Normal?
« on: April 15, 2020, 10:28:05 AM »
The short answer to this is yes. From what history and experience has shown us, Bitcoin experiencing a dip before a halving is pretty normal. There are a couple of factors that come into play, and many analysts believe that the sudden sell-off was not only due to the upcoming halving, but also due to global market panic, sparked by Covid-19.

Here is why bitcoin dips before a halving are not uncommon: https://thecoinshark.net/post/view?slug=Why+Bitcoin+Dips+Before+A+Halving+Are+Normal

Are you worried about the recent Bitcoin dip, or do you agree that it is just par for the course?

I think we have already experienced big drops previously. So, in what rate the Bitcoin must decrease before the halving started? I am quite worried with the current situation. I suspect this is only about the manipulation of whales or some big holders. I won't expect much on the next halving.

I used to think bitcoin was down before the halving event was normal, and I think BTC only dropped the most to 6kxx, but it was about 3k7 beyond my thinking.

I think everything in crypto currency is normal. either dips or moons.
They are normal flunctuations common with crypto currency trading.

Hence is a reason why we must always do researches all the time.
Likewise, be smart as nobody knows the pattern the in which bitcoin thrives.

If I am not that worried about the issue of bitcoin price declines, because that is normal and moreover, it is indeed experiencing the co-19 virus disaster which requires everyone to withdraw their funds so that they can continue to meet the family's needs

Seeing the previous BTC Halving  events, yeah it' totally what's gonna happen & i already talked about it in other threads.
It will tend to drop a little bit, stays stable & steady for couple weeks than the bull wave starts to happen.
Also don't forgot that earlier BTC Halving events we didn't have such financial disaster like this CoronaVirus thing, so take into consideration that everything MAY acts kind of weird before / after the next BTC Halving event.
