The University of Missouri released a new policy that allows tracking students’ locations to keep an eye on their attendance. From now on, all new students must install a location-tracking app on their phones. Will this new system bring positive change and improve students’ participation? The app tracks only students' arrival and departure times, not their every move throughout the day. However, the university has said it can adjust the technology to more detailed monitoring if needed. I heard about this, and my school wanted to implement the same rules in our school. At first, we were confused because for us was something new that we had never heard about this.
