The University of Missouri released a new policy that allows tracking students’ locations to keep an eye on their attendance. From now on, all new students must install a location-tracking app on their phones. Will this new system bring positive change and improve students’ participation? Or, considering it’s an age where concerns for privacy are at an all-time high, should this system be seen as invasive?

The app tracks only students' arrival and departure times, not their every move throughout the day. However, the university has said it can adjust the technology to more detailed monitoring if needed. The school says tracking attendance with numbertrackerpro.com will help parents know they are getting their money's worth and make sure kids attend classes regularly. But an app like this seems a bit too much like Big Brother watching over you, even if your parents are paying for it. I think that is abuse from the school.

I heard about this, and my school wanted to implement the same rules in our school. At first, we were confused because for us was something new that we had never heard about this. Some groups of people decided to change the number on receive sms online germany, and they made a boycott. I was really shocked when almost half of the school used this site after some weeks, and thanks to them, this rule was refused. We did a mini-history in our village that was even on TV. But to be honest, I was so shocked that teenagers can change something.

So they say.
