Is EOS the future?

EOS is a really promising and exciting 3rd generation blockchain platform that is slated to compete with the likes of Ethereum, NEO, Cardano, etc.In my opinion, one should do their own researches before buying. Have a close look to the Projects before you invest money. Real world usage and adoption should be the most important things to watch out for.What you all say?

EOS has many preferences, the only disadvantages are:
1. that fact that EOS account is not free 
2. it's not so adopted and not so famous as ETH.

i don't think any alt can take place of btc but few top projects may come near to it in upcoimng few years and examples of these projects are, Tron, XRP, EOS

It seems to be ETH's top competitor for smart contracts. Has a lot of usage but seems to be problems with the centralization.
