Can bitcoin survive without altcoins?

Since a lot of people ask "will altcoins survive without bitcoin?", there is something interesting in my mind with this. How about if we change the question to be "can bitcoin survive without altcoins?". I assume it can survive, but it will be a little hard to achieve its goals to change the world. Let's discuss it..

Bitcoin itself has beome much popular from the begining been the father of all other altcoins have been surviving without altcoins because the price of  bitcoin is in  the high side,  That's to say btcoin  will always survive  without  altcoins  for the past few month bitcoin is actually increased in value alone without reflecting on the altcoins price.

if for me bitcoin still survives if altcoin is dead, because bitcoin is also a good coin and also the highest price, so i believe bitcoin without altcoin can also last a long time

well Bitcoin is so powerful that it doesn't need any other cryptocurrencies to exist so, it survive, that's for sure. For now, Bitcoin is the best crypto and it dictates terms in the whole cryptocurrency world.
