Generally speaking, If GPS is enabled, it should be very accurate, the margin of error could be a few meters (3–10m).

If GPS is disabled, WiFi & mobile data on, the accuracy could be 5–100 meters.

If GPS & mobile data disabled, WiFi on, the accuracy could be 10–100 meters.

If GPS & WiFi disabled , data on, the accuracy could be 20–500 meters or even more depending on how many cell towers are there in your area.

If you mean Find My iPhone, it is as accurate as GPS/Wi-Fi location services can be. This means sometimes it is good to within 3 meters. other times, not so much.
