The Changing Method Of Token Sales

When a certain model goes out of favor, something new comes out. In the case of token sales, it started with ICOs then comes STOs. A few months later, some people are rushing to join the IEO craze. Just when I thought I've heard it all, two new models came out. Just today, I read about STEO (Security Token Exchange Offering) and OEO (Order Book Exchange Offering).

I appreciate the effort of these people to bring something new to the market but all these looks the same to me. Just a change in how it's being packaged.

What do you guys think will be next?

Lets hope that we will see bounty campaigns for these models. I think that marketing is always good. We have to see how this evolves.

Something new will always be there, it is all aimed at the safety of investors, because we know that ICO has a lot of scams, so that many investors are harmed

Maybe the methods are new but they are all aiming at one thing which is "what is the best way to extract money from people" in my own opinion IEO is just ICO with a twist the only difference between both is that with IEO you have a guaranteed listing nothing else and guess why IEO come in play? It is because people stopped pushing money after 95% of projects failed to get listed in proper exchange so ya lets give them an option 100% listing and here we go, people, started pushing money again.

Yes, IEO solves the problem of not listing. This is an evolutionary step. Let's see what else will come up for bounty hunters.

Indeed. With an evolution of the initial token sale, investors will be safe and protected from failed/scam projects. IEO or STO is born because of the needs of investors after many ICOs turned to be scams or failed projects. Those new ways are safer for investors even if there is no guarantee.

I think that evolution is a great thing. More options, mean more opportunities, In the cryptocurrency world this is good. Amazingly good.
