It is entirely dependent on the amount you got. If you have noticeable larger amount and you want it for long term, it is common sense to go for Cold, as it brings safety and security for long term. But obviously the larger say in this got to be the actual amount that you have because it will not be wise to go for it with lower amount. But again this is something very much upon our own comfort. All I say is we should know details about Crypto Wallets before taking decision.

Cold wallet. You can either use hardware wallet or paper wallets for security purpose. Ledger nano s and trezor are the high rated wallets.

That totally depends on what you need your wallet for, while cold wallet might be the best secure it is not good for daily and on the go uses so just use a cold wallet for storing and you must pick up a hot wallet for daily uses too there is a lot of great hot wallets out there that will meet your needs, just remember hot wallets is not meant to store big amount of money just keep your daily uses on it and you cold wallet for long term storing.

The first time I joined the cryptocurrency industries I think the best general wallet we all know is myetherwallet but later run I also heared about blockchain wallet which is said to be the most fast and secured in times of transactions, but still there are many other hardware and desktop wallet like luno and many others cryptocurrency wallet that could also be good.

I suggest hardware wallet which must be one either trezor or ledger. These two wallets are most secure places to hold your assets.
