The founder of OmiseGo, Hasegawa Jun has denied the recent rumors that the project has been acquired by Charoen Pokphand Group, the wealthiest company of Thailand.

It was reported by TheBlock, that OmiseGo had been acquired by the CP Group whose owners are the Chearavonont family which is also ranked as the one of the richest family in the world.

OmiseGo denies the acquisition:
Recently OmiseGo tweeted from its official Twitter account stating that they have not been acquired by any company and they also stated the article published by TheBlock as fake. They have asked the news outlet to remove the article immediately as according to them the false article might impact the holdings of Omise and its subsidiaries.

Also, founder of OmiseGo, Hasegawa Jun is reportedly going to take legal action against the news outlet if they do not reply back till March 30th.
