But, thanks to greedy tax authorities, this poor bastard is planning to do it from his boat, where sword of (unfair) justice couldn't hurt him. I do not see McAfee affecting Crypto space as a whole but for sure him shilling for certain coin/token is always giving that coin/token a good boost I have witnessed this myself a lot of times, I never took his words seriously but I follow him to see which coins he is shilling for and I always make profit from this.

It is a joke, I never think he is a crypto hero. I am sorry to say that I cannot believe in him. They speak too much about crypto and never think it is possible or not to happen. i'd say he sped up mass adaption by being a familiar face on the tv speaking of something that a lot of people knew nothing about.
the same way any other familiar face will make any other product more familiar to the consumer market.
i have no particular feelings towards him, other than thinking he's fucking hysterical at times, but i can appreciate that maybe he got a few people into crypto that otherwise wouldn't have known of it.
