Badbitcoin.org is a project created by bitcoiners, for bitcoiners. We give our time to investigate bitcoin sites and schemes that could harm bitcoin or it's users. The badbitcoin badlist is a comprehensive list of badsites that we have come across since our launch in Feb 2014.

From non paying pay to click sites to investments and cloudming - we are proud to say we that we have assembled the most comprehensive list of bitcoin scams and badsites in order to save you from losing your precious bitcoin to these crooks and conmen. This site is updated constantly, and we don't just expose scams.
We will investigate any site on your behalf, alert sites with security flaws, provide advice to get your startup right and generally do good stuff for the bitcoin community and Industry.

We need your help as well.
If you come across any dodgy bitcoin related sites, you can help us all by reporting it to us. We'll investigate and where it is needed, we'll list the site and alert the community via our mainpage, badlist and twitter @badbitcoinorg.
If you are an amateur sleuth, we can help you with some useful tools and tips to help investigate sites, and we welcome input and suggestions on how we can improve the project.

We want to starve these scammers out of the bitcoin world, and with your help - we will.
I got scammed, and that inspired me to create this project, so you don't have to.
