This is Secco, admin of Bitcoin Garden Forum, writing. Welcome to this new edition of the Bitcoin Garden Newsletter.
Despite the crypto market still in deep red, the forum is expanding and a lot of new users are joining the community. While sending my personal welcome to all the new members who are reading this newsletter for the first time, I would like to announce the Bitcoin Garden Team is also expanding and 4 new moderators joined the staff.
Valhalaa and ayatoslaw are the new moderators for the Indonesian Board. ayatoslaw is 26 years old, from Indonesia, Bachelor of Law degree. He knew Bitcoin from 2010, but only been actively involved in the last 2 years. Valhalaa is a college student, curious about new technologies, and obviously a blockchain enthusiast. The Indonesian community on this forum is expanding quickly so the local board is now including 4 news sub-boards to better categorize the content of the discussion. Other communities are also growing fast, so soon their local boards may be enriched with sub categories as well.
Gamals will be taking care of the German board and finally Joankii is now taking care of some of the most important English boards: crypto discussion, crypto crime and scams, crypto products and services and a few more. He is a blockchain enthusiast, trader, miner, entrepreneur, investor, community and business manager. Has extensive experience in the field of cryptocurrency and crypto markets, actually community Manager of some important blockchain projects.

TIPS FOR NEW USERS: If you're brand new at crypto, you may feel a bit confused. This is normal. My best advice for you is taking the time to study before starting to play. Make sure you have well clear in mind what a cryptocurrency is and how it works. Read guides, watch videos, and study as much as you can. Online there are a lot of FAQs and guides to learn the very basics of crypto, but after you did that, remember there are no stupid questions. So, any question you may have, ask on the forums or search Google for it!
IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING! Numerous Bitcoin wallets may have been compromised: a Node.js module called event-stream is used in millions of web applications, including BitPay’s open-source bitcoin wallet — Copay — and this module was reportedly compromised thanks to what can objectively referred to as social engineering, laziness, and incompetence. According to a complainant on GitHub, the new maintainer either pulled a sneaky move to inject malware or unknowingly had the same effect as if he had, that effect being that it would leak private keys from applications that relied on both the event-stream and copay-dash modules.
