Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold??

After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see
Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.

I think this "bitcoin is digital gold" nonsense became big last year that bitcoin transaction fees grow a lot and people were starting to say bitcoin is unusable because of it. so some others tried to say bitcoin is only store of value and not a currency and tried convincing others about it too which is why it became a thing.
but in the end nothing will change. bitcoin will remain a currency even if you call it something else.

bitcoin is not a digital gold, bitcoin doesn't have a physical form like gold, and bitcoin now exists on the internet. but bitcoin does help many people to make money like what they get from gold. I agree with the OP that said that bitcoin is a digital currency which we can use on the internet but in the future, I think bitcoin can also be used in our real life. but we agree that bitcoin is the investment that we can have because we can buy a small part of bitcoin for our investment and this is different with gold which we need to buy some amount of gold. maybe I can say that we have gold in our real life and we have bitcoin in the online life so we have two type of the investment

most people consider bitcoin to be digital gold because both have a lot in common. like both are obtained from mining. then both also have a limited amount. and most people agree that both are valuable objects that can be exchanged for money. and both can also be used as investment tools. Maybe crypto currency will not last forever, but still, it will take too much time that the cryptos will eventually die. It would not happen very soon because there is a lot of people in support of cryptos. There are a lot of people investing in different coins. They make profit with these investments. A lot of those investors come from different places and makes use of it everyday. The current technology of cryptos ensure security, anonymity, lower fess and fast transaction which these users find useful especially in the internet where a lot of bad things happen. The future of cryptos is that it will last for a very long time since it offers features everyone needs and many people are in support of this great technology.

Bitcoin not digital gold, but I always said bitcoin is long conditions investment asset and if bitcoin digital gold can at any moment drop substantially in price. This contradicts the behavior of gold, which never so becomes cheaper.

Right, BTC is not a digital gold. We know gold has physical shape but BTC is not touchable because it is digital coin that can't be measured with gold.

Yeah but Gold price is more stable than Bitcoin price, Bitcoin can only be the digital gold in crypto, but for replacing gold in the method of storing valuable item, Bitcoin still can’t beat Gold

True, for Bitcoin to replace Gold as a storing valuable, I think at least we need to have the ETF to control the price if Bitcoin first
