Can government destroy Bitcoin?

I think the government have not enough sources to destroy Bitcoin. Because it has decentralised platform as well as strong Blockchain technology.

What governments that ban Bitcoin currently? I don't hear the news that any governments ban it in recent months. Anyway, I think it will be difficult for governments to destroy Bitcoin as long as it is supported by the community. I see there are more people who love Bitcoin day by day.

How can they? If they could, they would have done it already. They can only regulate it on a juridical level.

The problem with bitcoin is that it is too transparent.  Any government structure can track transactions.  Therefore, private coins will be more popular now.

Fortunately, very few countries have taken steps to ban cryptocurrencies to date. But the threat is legitimate. Governments might not be able to prevent all cryptocurrency transactions, but they can significantly discourage their use. With this in mind, we should continue to push for choice in currency. We should continue to explain the benefits of financial privacy and stateless monies.

They can play a role in this but they can never directly effect Bitcoin or destroy it because they have no control over it Bitcoin is 100% decentralized so controlling or destroying it is almost impossible but on the other hand they can keep spread negativity about it until people lose faith in it.

I assume the government will be difficult to destroy Bitcoin. It is kept by many people around the world. The bitcoin holders are hard to control, and Bitcoin also can be traded without the government's agreement. It is decentralized, so the government cannot be easy to destroy it.

Govenments can try and regulate or even ban crypto, but like with black money it will not mean it will totally disapear.

The government cannot intervene, the government will not be able to destroy bitcoin, because this is a welcome development. All will definitely work because many citizens who need bitcoin will certainly support the government.

Governments may make Bitcoin unattractive due to the fact that they will monitor all transactions.  Then private coins will come in the first place. Soon will be time for privacy coins...

No government can destroy Bitcoin although maximum government will ban crypto because the government has no control over Bitcoin and its transactions in a decentralized blockchain technology.
