Reworked website

The first thing you will notice is the new design of the main page. The whole website was updated to be aligned with our new functionality. On the picture below, you can find the new site map. Please, study it carefully:



To start trading, you need to login/register and go to your Dashboard page.

Dashboard. New Assets

Now there are 50+ assets and 200+ trading pairs on the Blackmoon Platform. You can easily manage your coins and monitor the markets in the Dashboard.

Use the buttons on the top of the page, to deposit or withdraw funds. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window. Learn more about deposits and withdrawals in the FAQ.

Important notice regarding ETH deposits/withdrawals! Currently, our platform supports ETH deposits/withdrawals only from/to personal addresses. ETH deposits/withdrawals from contracts are not supported. Before submitting a transaction, please check your address on etherscan.io to make sure that you are not depositing from (withdrawing to) a contract. Alternatively, you can try to ask the support of the service that you use for sending/receiving ETH.



After the first successful deposit, your portfolio value chart will appear at the top of the Dashboard. This feature will be available in a matter of days.

To start trading, you need to enter the Blackmoon Exchange from either your Balances or Markets.

The Blackmoon Exchange

In the Blackmoon Exchange, you can buy or sell cryptocurrencies.



Descriptions of the main blocks of the Trading Interface (Exchange):

a. General settings of the terminal. (e.g. Language, colour scheme, etc.)

b. Markets. Choose the pair you would like to trade here. You can also add pairs to favourites and create watchlists in this block.

c. Chart & Analysis. Check the price movement on multiple timeframes and analyze the chart with drawing tools. Your pending orders will be displayed on the chart.

d. Orders & Balances. In this block, you can find your pending orders, your history of orders and your balances. You can also manage your price alerts in this block.

e. Order creation, order book and recent trades tabs. In order creation block you can select order type, set order size and place it.

f. Aggregate order book. Visual representation of sell and buy orders. On top of this block, you can find the difference between the highest bid and the lowest ask, which is called “spread”.

After the release, our trading fees have become 10x lower! Beyond that, all pairs with BMC have zero trading fees until 30 Sep 2019! Subsequently, these pairs will have a 50% discount on trading fees.

Plans for 2019

2. Platform enhancements. These include:
    - bugs and improvements
    - Quick exchange for mobile devices. Currently, trading on mobile devices is unavailable (except for some high-resolution tablets like iPad Pro 12.9).
    - API
    - Credit/Debit cards withdrawals
3. VIP Program. Depending on the trading volume and BMC balance, you will receive extra privileges, including lower trading fees, higher rebate rate in the referral program, bonuses during special events and more.
4. TradingFest. Promo event in which our users will receive prizes for trading on the Blackmoon Platform. The event will start later this month.

Why Grams will be traded on Blackmoon?



Traders will have access to Gram tokens on the Blackmoon Exchange right after Telegram Open Network launch. Real on-chain Grams, available for withdrawal to Telegram native wallet. No lock-up. No futures or other derivatives.

To provide our clients with access to Grams, Blackmoon partnered with Gram Vault — a Swiss-regulated custodian for the original investors of Telegram Open Network. This will make on-chain Grams available on Blackmoon when Telegram blockchain goes live and Grams are minted.

Blackmoon invested resources in IT development and compliance to make this happen.

1. IT efforts resulted in a significantly expanded functionality for the users:

-   Market, limit, stop and stop-limit orders conditional on market movements;
-   Powerful chart tools with multiple tabs;
-   Price alerts and customized trading workspaces;
-   More than 200 trading pairs including tokenized assets.



2. On the compliance side, Blackmoon operates under the provisions of MFSA’s Virtual Financial Assets Act. Because of this, traders can purchase cryptocurrencies and Grams with debit and credit cards.



3. To provide clients with an additional layer of security, we completed an IT audit with a Big 4 company. The auditors assessed the underlying network and infrastructure as well as the design and implementation of the solutions. The tests were both automated and manual using both authenticated and non-authenticated approaches.

As a result, the auditors concluded that the risks were insignificant:

10 September 2019, BMC price $0.46. Meet new Blackmoon:

    – a fully-featured exchange launched inside the Blackmoon Platform

    – many new assets and pairs are now available for depositing, trading and withdrawing

    – entirely reworked website, including new Dashboard

After the release, Blackmoon exchange became the main venue for BMC trading. Increased demand from new users, thanks to zero fees in BMC pairs, resulted in further price appreciation to $0.61 as of 18 September 2019.

Price inefficiencies

Because Blackmoon price feed is not on the CoinMarketCap yet, 5–10% price differences between the exchanges are a common thing.

BMC/USDT pair on Blackmoon has outpaced the volume of Bancor. The total 24-h volume of BTC versus BTC, ETH, TUSD and EUR was 170,341.74.
