 Fujicon will celebrate its 6th anniversary on June 28th. There have been many changes in the crypto currency area over the past year. However, the spread as a currency may be much slower than expected. Meanwhile, cashless payments are making rapid progress. FujicoinCore v0.21.0 has been released

・Fujicoin Core will no longer automatically create new wallets on startup. New wallets can be created through the GUI, through the fujicoin-cli createwallet or fujicoin-wallet create commands, or the createwallet RPC.

・You can now select Descriptor Wallet as an option. Descriptor Wallet uses BIP 44/49/84 derivation paths. Currently it is an experimental implementation and you cannot use mnemonics. Also, you cannot dump the Account Extended Private Key, so be careful about how to back up your wallet.

・Taproot and Schnoor signatures have been implemented in core. It is currently in the experimental stage and has been activated with the new SigNet and RegTest, but the mainnet and testnet have not been activated. Activation on the mainnet will be as early as the 1Q of 2022.

・A new network named Signet has been added. This is an improvement over the shortcomings of traditional Testnet. In Signet, only the person who has the private key can mining, so the progress of the blockchain is stable. You can build your own Signet network by creating a private key for your Fujicoin address. Signet is great for testing Taproot as it is activated.

FujicoinCore v0.21.1 has been released
Taproot Soft Fork

Included in this release are the mainnet and testnet activation parameters for the taproot soft fork (BIP341) which also adds support for schnorr signatures (BIP340) and tapscript (BIP342).
These improvements will allow users of single-signature scripts, multisignature scripts, and complex contracts to all use identical-appearing commitments that enhance their privacy and the fungibility of all fujicoins.
Activation is already complete so you can use these new features right away on the mainnet.

Fujicoin Core v22.0 has been released

v22.0: 2021-08-28

・Bech32m address (native witness version 1) is supported. Taproot descriptor `tr()` was added by default in descriptor wallets so that users will be able to make and use segwit v1 bech32m addresses. BIP-86 is used for the derivation path of the bech32m address.
   If you want to try the bech32m address, create a descriptor wallet and specify `bech32m` as an argument of the `getnewaddress` command on the console or RPC.

・External signers such as TREZOR Hardware Wallets can now be used. These require an external tool such as HWI(https://github.com/fujicoin/HWI) to be installed and configured under Options -> Wallet. When creating a new wallet a new option "External signer" will appear in the dialog. If the device is detected, its name is suggested as the wallet name. The watch-only keys are then automatically imported. Receive addresses can be verified on the device. The send dialog will automatically use the connected device.

・fujicoin-util(.exe) is included with all binary releases. Along with this, fujicoin-signet-utility that is common to all OSs will be distributed. Please refer to the link below for how to build a Signet private network.

Wrapped Fujicoin

We have decided to publish Wrapped Fujicoin on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The standard for tokens on BSC is called BEP-20, which is similar to Ethereum's ERC-20 standard. The Fujicoin ticker on the BSC is the FJC, but it is named FJC-BEP20 to distinguish it from the traditional Fujicoin (FJC).

This section describes the purpose of issuing Wrapped Fujicoin. FJC-BEP20 can be traded in large markets such as Pancake Swap. This is expected to dramatically increase the liquidity of Fujicoin.It is also possible to increase the value of FJC by purchasing FJC in the conventional market with the funds obtained from ICO.

After the initial price adjustment, FJC and FJC-BEP20 plan to peg at a one-to-one value. This is similar to the relationship between USD and USDT. FJC and FJC-BEP20 will be ready for exchange on the market.

・ The official rate is specified as "1 FJCB = 500 FJC".
・ The first issue will be 20000 FJCB.
・ The minimum trading volume is 200 FJCB ( 100,000 FJC).
・ The FJC obtained in the first transaction will be entrusted to FujiBridgeBank. At the same time, a buy order for FJCB is placed at a rate of "1 FJCB = 495 FJC" using the FJC for the trust. After that, the trust portion will be used to buy the FJCB.
