I think nobody can find the lost bitcoins, Because it is unknown and anonymous. Like what you can see in every transaction only wallet addresses we could see in the blockchain. If it is lost it will only be stock there forever unless there is a hacker can trace it. But that's not possible I think.

I think Nobody can find that again unless they have their Private key. so thats why better backup your private key duplicately.

a lot of bitcoin is lost due to carelessness in purses and other problems especially long-term infestations.

The thing is that some people just hold coins in their wallets waiting for the better moment for trading or withdrawing it.
Another thing is that some people may forget their accesses to their wallets and then it may just gone if someone couldn't restore the access.

There only one way to recover any lost btc and the only way is when you recover your passphrase or your private key to the wallet and if that not recover then it all gone. We are indirectly short of btc in circulation due to the lost ones.

I also read about it years ago when I'm just starting to cryptocurrency. They said that those millions of btc missing are from those old users that suddenly quit crypto and some are forgot their wallet passphrases.

I don't think its possible if you have lost the Private key then you cant find bitcoin ever again.
