Hello all,

I wanted to introduce an application (free) that I very recently added to the iOS app store - BTCnews. I was looking to develop an application that I would want to use in order to stay on top of all cryptocurrency news: quick and easy to use, all in one place, and frequently updated,  and this is the result (my previous app did have news, but the focus was exchanges, currencies, exchange rates etc.)

BTCnews is entirely focused on news, pulls stories from over 25 of the best sources, and the feed is updated frequently throughout the day. News sources have been vetted to include only the quality ones with original content and frequent updates.

Feature include:

• ability to tag a story for later reading
• view more stories from a select source
• search for stories about a specific topic
• and more...

Yes! This has been requested/mentioned to me more than once. There are a couple of iOS releases in the pipeline, after which hopefully work on an Android version can commence (it is not an insignificant undertaking as, amongst other things, this app relies on a number of third party components which may or may not exist for Android, but it seems worth the effort)

Since the initial version of BTCnews for iOS, the most comprehensive iPhone/iPad application for all Bitcoin and CryptoCurrency news in one place, there have been a number of updates, with many enhancements, so I figured it's probably a good time to mention some of what's been added:

• Dedicated Trending and Featured sections for the hottest and most interesting stories
• Podcast support - listen to podcasts from within the application
• Thumbnail images, a prettier and faster interface
• Quick and easy navigation between sections
• Additional news sources
• As well as previous features such as search, saving stories for later, reading more items from select sources

As always, feedback, suggestions, recommendations for additional news sources, criticism, etc. are very welcome. And, if you like it, feel free to kindly review in the app store and help spread the word...  There is still much more in the pipeline.

A new version of BTCnews is out to accommodate the switch to a new back-end server. Still works as before, and with the most comprehensive set of features and news sources to follow everything happening in the Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency world on your iOS device.
