Really comes down to the business plan, the details disclosed and any major backings.  Vague details make me feel like its a scam.  If the coin is already developed or close to.

For example.  Xrp isnt an ICO anymore but its plan is to streamline the financial industry between banks.  This is huge.  Its backed by 100+ banks.  You know who the CEO is and can research it.

I agree. I think who is behind it, purpose, and how open the team is about giving details about project.

Also, I am curious if you read about ICO where do you consider the most interesting way to get the ICO out to the public?
