Do u think isn't it late to start mining?

I'd like to start mining but one one forum i was told that it's too late, that there r too many people who r earning money in such way. What do u think?

    It is maybe late to mine bitcoin, unless you've huge amounts of money to invest, but sure there are plenty of profitable coins to mine.
