Canto and Astar migrate to Ethereum as layer 2 ZK rollups

Two layer-1 blockchains, Canto and Astar, are planning to migrate to the Ethereum ecosystem as layer 2 zero-knowledge rollups. Canto aims to onboard the traditional financial sector to decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and will build a ZK rollup on Ethereum's second layer. Astar, on the other hand, will build its own Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution named Astar ZK-EVM. These migrations to Ethereum could be the start of a rollup avalanche, with more protocols considering similar moves. However, some protocols, like dYdX and Maker, are moving away from Ethereum and exploring other ecosystems like Cosmos and Solana.
