Anti-corruption service on blockchain. E-Auction 3.0 developer will attend Tallinn

On March 9, 2017, one will present the electronic auction service – e-Auction 3.0 – at Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference in Tallinn. This project has been developed by Ukrainian IT specialists. Its concept is to replace officials for transparent blockchain. It shows conditions, process and results of public property lease and sale auctions.

E-Auction 3.0 is one of significant government control projects: it has shown that the problem related with subjective decisions and intervention on trading can be eliminated by the code. The service was tested in the range of Ukrainian cities and won support of certain administrations.

Big Ukrainian banks and Microsoft helped the team of developers. A lot of people were participating in the project voluntarily, so its implementation didn’t even require money investments, told Lasha Antadze, the development of e-Auction 3.0 and participant of major blockchain conferences.

At Tallinn conference, he will present the govtech service, well-known in Ukraine and Russia, and tell about the project development.

According to organizers, Karolina Martsantovich (leading IBM engineer), Kaspar Korjus (e-Residency Managing Director) and Jon Matonis (founder of Bitcoin Foundation) have already confirmed their participation in the event.

5 blockchain applications in Fintech. IBM leading engineer will speak at Tallinn conference

Wide blockchain application is leading to establishing new business models that will be used not only by corporations but also by small market players. Karolina Marzantowicz, a leading engineer of Polish IBM office, is convinced of this fact.  On March 9, 2017, she will present company’s opinion regarding the future of blockchain technologies at Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Tallinn.

Karolina Marzantowicz is a permanent speaker at the major blockchain conferences. This time, she will dedicate her presentation to five options of applying blockchain in the fintech sector. Conference participants will learn about the most successful projects implemented in 2016.

The Fintech industry has been chosen, because according to the September report of the World Economic Forum, finances will be the first area of blockchain mass application.

We would like to remind that IBM is actively examining blockchain technology. According to recent reports, the company along with the US government has launched the project on transferring medical data in the block chain. The January report of Transparency Market Research shows that IBM is included into the top 3 biggest blockchain players of the world.

Tickets to the conference, involving IBM representative, are available on Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Tallinn website.

Blockchain will fundamentally transform exchange business – Funderbeam CEO Kaidi Ruusalepp

“Blockchain can radically transform exchange sector”, believes Kaidi Ruusalepp, CEO at Funderbeam (exchange for startups) and former CEO at the Estonian Nasdaq subdivision. On March 9, she will speak at Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Tallinn.

Being experienced in managing Nasdaq, Kaidi founded Funderbeam – an investment and research platform for finding investors and startups.

At the end of 2016, Funderbeam team started creating a blockchain-based exchange. As envisioned by founders, the exchange should be an open platform for trading participants. Several companies and two private investors (one of them is Skype founder Jaan Tallinn) supported the project financially. Total amount of investments has already exceeded 2.5 mln dollars.

Kaidi Ruusalepp is sure that blockchain implementation will solve the problem of transparency in the trading process and become “a financial engine of companies’ growth”.

What issues will be discussed at the conference?

At Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kaidi Ruusalepp will tell you about new challenges faced by exchanges, banking sector and organizers of crowdsourcing campaigns.

Her speech will be dedicated to prospects of using blockchain in exchange operations, experience of the Estonian Nasdaq business unit and tasks which should be tackled by authors of new projects (cases of Funderbeam and blockchain-based exchange).

It will be interesting for startup founders, investors, stock trading participants and cryptocurrency entrepreneurs.

To find out more visit the website of the conference.
