Ethereum looks very Bullish now and likely to hit 4K in few days if Bitcoin remains Bullish. Once Ethereum's major upgrade occurs sometime in late 2021 or early 2022, one simulation estimates that the circulating supply of Ethereum could shrink by around 1.4% each year at current rates of fee burning. Is this the right time to collect eth and wait till upgrade happen?.

Yes, I think so. If you wish to buy a coin as strong as Ethereum, you should not be waiting for the major update to happen. You need to stack yourself some amount earlier. That's before the update takes place and creates more hype and FOMO. The update of Ethereum is effectively shrinking its supply. That will cause the available coins in circulation much smaller which will in turn cause the price to rise. The demand of Ethereum has always been strong. In fact, there is even the rumor of flipping Bitcoin. I don't agree with that of course but it is safe to just have some ETH in case it rises even more which is most likely happening.

if you are sure about it, you can collect eth from now on. but I think the right time to buy is when the price of eth is correcting or when it is bearish
