In this section, you will learn how to set up
SBCGlobal.net email settings for Outlook:
1. Select the File tab to open MS Outlook. To set up a new account, click on add account.
2. Select Manual setup or additional servers and click on Next.
3. On the choose service page, choose POP or IMAP, and click next.
4. Your name and email address should be entered in the fields provided and choose POP3.
5. Fill out both the incoming and outgoing server fields properly. After completing, tap on more settings.
6. Choose my outgoing server requires authentication in the outgoing server field.
7. Check the box Encrypted connections are needed under the Advanced tab. In the incoming server field, enter 995.
8. Choosing Outgoing Server, enter 465, select SSL as the encryption type, and then choose Outgoing Server.
9. To configure the mailbox, click OK and then tap next. Tap the finish button and then the close button.
