Crypto Discussion / Re: Do you want to buy Cryptos?
« on: May 30, 2019, 09:15:14 AM »
Many people are getting to know about cryptocurrency now, so the awareness is growing, and many people are turning to crypto for investment.
As the crypto community is growing, the most vital issues is not only how to buy but also how to securely store your crypto assets.
People should also read about the security of their digital assets.
I make use of paper wallet to store my Ripple, ethereum, veil, and litecoin. They are my long term hold while I leave some on exchange for trading

I'm done buying all the required coins I need for my long term hold. Only monitoring veil to add some more if there is a little dip.
So I will suggest you start buying in every dip.

i think you might be overstating the danger of addresses being known.
updates within btc have made one time address usage also possible.
there are millions if not billions of dollars of btc sitting on known wallets and yet no one has touched them
i think hiding transaction history would be important to people hiding their btc activities from tax authorities mostly
No it doesn't have to be only those trying to hide from tax payment. Do you know that  most of the wallet that have fallen victim of hacking, if the wallet is to be make private and untraceable, the hackers won't have the impetus or the urge to start looking for vulnerability or bug to capitalise knowing fully well that at the end they might find nothing.
So I believe we really need privacy coins like veil in this space to tackle the issue of hack

Nice list of altoins but If I'm to pick, I will go for Ripple, NEO, stellar, bnb, and veil but everyone have his or her individual preference but the vital thing is to do your due diligence before investing

Mining / Re: X16RT mining algorithm - How veil came about it
« on: May 17, 2019, 01:06:25 PM »
Nice break down on veil mining mechanism, I started mining VEIL few weeks ago and I'm really enjoying the whole thing

No exchange is safe because hackers are all very smart to capitalise on any security bug before the exchange can get to know. No security measure is 100%
It's better we keep our funds in wallets we have our private keys.

Hello i have no knowledge about mining can anyone here give me the lesson to read for the starter pack? I eager to learn and pls tell how much money needed for a compelete setup
Please acquaint yourself very well with the required knowledge before starting to avoid damages or you can join mining pool first.
I have not gathered enough knowledge to guide someone as I have just started for the first time mining VEIL coin, so I want to see how it goes.
Good luck

Monero is currently number one privacy coin in the crypto market Base on popularity, market capitalisation and user Base but not tech wise, when you come to technology, veil network is very much on the better size and it is fast gaining attraction and it has the potential to compete with monero in the nearest future.

Crypto Discussion / Re: Which alts will survive?
« on: May 05, 2019, 12:51:11 PM »
The top 100 coins in Coinmarketcap will be the first to survive, after seeing various altcoins appear with the same idea, then at that time I thought the new project gave a little change to the previous project and that it had, it would be great if we looked at the progress of this year's cryptocurrency, but many altcoins will die and only coins like ETH, WAVES, Tron and coins continue to develop their technology that will last.
I disagree with that, not all the top 100 will survive. If you look back to two or three years back coinmarketcap rating you will discover that some if not most of the top 50 coins are not among the top 100 presently.
One thing is certain as time goes new and improved technology continue to emerge and technology used by some of these coins are considered obsolete and new projects will capitalise on that by using this modern technology to build projects that offer users more accurate, and user friendly products and services and as well offer solutions to the challenges and flaws found in the previous projects, just like what veil network is doing within the privacy coins.

Crypto Discussion / Re: How many altcoins are you investing in?
« on: May 04, 2019, 10:26:51 PM »
When investing for long term it's good to invest in coins that have good potential and working team.
I'm holding neo, Ripple, ethereum, gochain, stellar and recently added veil to my long term bag

I quite agree with you but not totally, wallets been traceable doesn't in any way give an edge to hackers, individual security mindedness or awareness  is needed to keep our wallets safe from hackers, blockchain protect our identity from been revealed.  There are many known whale wallets that house millions of crypto assets but still didn't get hacked.
We still needs the absolute privacy and anonymity for our transactions and I love what the privacy coins like veil project mentioned above are doing by offering us the opportunity to be 100% anonymous in our day to day transactions.

It will be extremely hard for any altcoin to be valued more than bitcoin even at the long run

13
Omg $2000 and you are sad!! What about losing over $15000 holding! What about big whales that lost $xxxxxx holding! I myself lost over $10000 holding man $2000 is nothing in this market especially while holding, just be happy that you did not lose more than that.
Someone lost his money and this is what you got to tell him, that $2000 might worth millions to him whilst the person that lost $15000 might really mean nothing to him

Fee discount is much better because deposit bonus always come with terms and conditions which might not be favourable to the users and it will be a big turn off

Crypto Discussion / Re: VEIL PROJECT : ANOTHER MEGA PRIVACY COIN?
« on: May 03, 2019, 09:51:23 AM »
I see this project just like Monero and other anonymous coin that we already have, why we are not focus on develop the current anonymous coin instead of create new one and give more burden to the blockchain?
Yaa you are right but it's just like saying once we have bitcoin or ethereum what is the need of creating other cryptocurrencies.
Every innovation or technology have its flaws and drawback and what veil project did is to work on the flaws and drawback of the current privacy coins we have by integrating and combining modern technology like combining monero's RingCT technology and Zerocoin protocol to offer more anonymity and privacy.
I have read about the project and quite impress.
