Crypto Discussion / BTC Tx problem
« on: August 22, 2018, 09:39:46 PM »
I am just getting into bitcoin and did a small purchase with a certain address. However, after purchasing with an address I accidentally changed the address.

It is still the same wallet, but with a different address. Does this mean I will not receive my money?

Or anything i can do to reverse this operation???

Crypto Discussion / Who is the Mt Gox trustee selling for?
« on: August 22, 2018, 09:38:20 PM »
Mt Gox trustee has been moving coins and very possibly selling, but on behalf of whom?

As i understand it creditors were owed $400M and this debt was paid off already.

Is he now selling for shareholders, including Karpeles?

Crypto Discussion / The three main concerns I have about bitcoin
« on: August 22, 2018, 09:36:24 PM »
Maybe these have already been addressed, but here they are.

1) Early adopters may have stashes of millions of bitcoin. If widely adopted a few super rich could have a huge influence over the whole bitcoin economy. Imagine owning 5% of all USD in circulation(with no fed to inflate).

2) The supply is fixed at 21 million, but bitcoins themselves are not permanent. People die all the time without wills. People die with btc on a computer/flashdrive that no one knows about, they're gone. People don't make backups, their computer crashes, they're gone. You might think this is great, because now your btc are more valuable. But for a currency, it's not such a good thing, to have the supply eroding over time. Theoreticly, the amount of btc could eventually go to zero.

3) Speed of transactions. If btc becomes very widely adopted, can it handle billions of transactions a day without speed becoming an issue?

Don't get me wrong. I love bitcoin and the whole concept behind it. These are just questions of someone looking to learn more.

Crypto Discussion / What is the best Virtual Credit Card there is?
« on: August 22, 2018, 09:35:14 PM »
hi, I need some advice.

I need to make a purchase online and I actually need to do it with a credit card.

The thing is though, I don't have a physical credit card, I don't want to wait for it, but I have some bitcoins.

What I need to do is, convert my BTC into USD in an exchange and get the USD in a virtual card. But I don't know which one to choose. Which virtual credit card provider would you recommend??

I can open 1 or 2 vcc's and experiment with small amounts, but I need ones with the best rates in terms of percentage charged for loading money into your virtual card and overall fees, monthly fees, ATM fees, initial cost (if there's any).

If you've used any virtual credit cards, could you please share your experience. It would be really helpful.

Thank you in advance!

P.S. I am aware there are some physical credit card providers, but many of them do not support countries outside EEA/SEPA zone.

You can investment your money in land, house, gold, silver, stock markets, fixed deposits & savings in banks, start some business or invest in some business (like restaurant, hotels etc..)

Actually Bitcoin and crypto currencies are not required/unwanted
