Crypto Discussion / Re: Will ASC-20 ecosystem tokens surpass BRC-20?
« on: January 14, 2024, 02:04:52 AM »
I don't know why you comparing BRC-20 and ASC-20. why not ERC-20 with ASC-20 instead.
I know a little thing about ASC-20 but i think i know ERC-20 and then BEP-20.
ASC-20 has not much user some of them AVAV and DINO but BRC-20 is alot even that is new.
What i am thinking about why is Avax in the top 10 marketcap? i don't understand maybe someone here can explain better than me

Crypto Discussion / How to farm airdrops on crypto?
« on: January 14, 2024, 02:01:23 AM »
This is only my opinion.

Find a tokenless project and research about their platform. Take note on the tokenomics on their docs. See if theres a community incentive rewards/airdrops of any allocation. This is one thing to note before doing anything.

Do these common task that probably present on their platform as they are still prelaunch their project.

-Bridging and swapping
- Adding liquidity
- Voting for proposals usually in cosmos eco or dao
- Minting NFTs releases
- Lending / Borrowing of funds
- buying domain names
- Staking some possible tokens like atom inj and tia.

And viola AIRDROP it is when the time they launch their project. How to spot if its good? Usually it is followed by big projects or dapps on Twitter and some OGs.

These are all risky, people come into them with great expectations and I understand it, it makes sense to anticipate something like that, because in most cases the launchpool tokens did went up after the release, so there is an anticipation that it will go up with every new token.

However, it also doesn't mean that it will be like that, some may end up losing some money, you could be a little later to the party than others. You do not need suggestions on which one, they are all shitcoins to me, but all of them do make money if you enter at the right moment, so just check what is at the launchpool and what you can invest into, and if you want to invest into them, you are free to do so without really checking which one.

Trading / Re: Step you have to take before venturing into the market

The coins or tokens a trader is using to trade is also very important. You may not use leverage with some coins or tokens, but they are too volatile and can result to money loss or liquidation. I prefer to use bitcoin to trade. I use altcoins at times, but the ones with high marketcap.

What to be paid attention to also is the leverage just has you said. Too much leverage is mainly the cause of liquidation. It makes traders to be afraid and leave market which might later favour them. It is even good to trade with less than 1x leverage.

Not Cointelegraph, but all Bitcoin news sites work like bots. As soon as there is news, you will find it spread on all news sites without even checking the sources. Cointelegraph is a good source for knowing news, but it is a very bad source for learning or taking investment advice, and even their newsletters require a deeply DYOR . Unfortunately, repeating the news on several news sites does not mean that it is not fake because they simply copy-paste from others.

With this wealth of experience among many others not mentioned do you think it qualifies you to provide non-professional or semi-professional financial advice regarding Bitcoin to individuals?

I am not here too long and I does not have 15 year experience.

I only can say the most important thing for anyone who has bitcoin is

"Not your keys, not your bitcoins".

You listed Mt.Gox, it is one lesson of losing bitcoin on that exchange. In 2022, some more lessons from Terra, FTX, Voyager, Celcius, Three Arrow Capital.

Invest means you will have to take profit.

Trading / Re: Trading bots on Binance
« on: January 11, 2024, 07:37:01 AM »
I made it a point to never touch anything "AI-powered" when it's still in its beta stages as it's either going to cost me my job, or my money. But Binance's AI trading bot's pretty good if I do say so myself. The only massive bummer for me is that it probably generates its inferences and predictions based on the market as well as the predictions/positions locked in by successful traders within their database, which means they are collecting data without everyone's permission to make a trading bot. And that is a massive if but if that would be the case then I guess Binance will need to have some explaining to do.

I guess the concept saves itself cause it's free and it doesn't cost the user any extra fees besides what they would already need to pay. But at the end of the day, this is basically creating a copy-trading bot without the traders knowing that they are in fact being used to study the market, which is a massive mistake if I do say so myself.

I guess we'll just have to wing this concept for now. It's not like the crypto industry's big on copytrading or AI trading bots nowadays anyways. For me this is a gimmick to the professional trader, and a great training wheel for those who are just learning the ropes. Possibly at the expense of the successful trader(s) that they are collecting the data from.

Crypto Discussion / Re: When is the next alt season?
« on: January 11, 2024, 07:36:26 AM »
I think a lot of altcoins are already starting to increase now mainly because of bitcoin’s increase in price and the anticipated halving event

You can expect altcoins to pump more in the next following months guaranteed that bitcoin will be increasing more thus trust in the cryptocurrency scene will be heightened  still note that altcoins are extremely volatile and are much harder to predict it is still best to keep an open mind and observe altcoins that you hold

Not totally sure what the best thing to do is, but if I were in your situation, what I would do is send the coins to probably a dozen wallet addresses, and continue sending and sending to different wallet addresses for a month or so(probably 20 times? depending on how sure you want to be); so if your coins have been sent over with a good number of hops, hopefully their system ignores the mixing history.

Crypto Discussion / Re: Crypto Confessions
« on: January 11, 2024, 07:33:33 AM »
it surprises me how relevant some of confessions were to me, and how we are all pretty much same.

You are right, it seems like almost all the posts just talks about being lucky and gaining profit

I have seen lots of people confessing that upon getting into crypto they were faced with circumstances that were beneficial to them a lot of these posts were related to family like wife or even girlfriend

Nothing that surprising to be honest

Crypto Discussion / Re: Which upcoming DEX are you looking at in 2024?
« on: January 07, 2024, 03:51:22 AM »
I mean a DEX in building phase that can become big and useful in 2024.

There are not much hype about dex as in the past so there are not much hype anywhere and it's harder to find newer dex that could be promising. Popular dex like pancakeswap and biswap are already so low on user activity and their token prices has decreased to dirt. Still I was in search for something new and that could be a hit on the future and I discovered kinza finance.
Don't mean to promote it and everyone should do their own research before investing but the reason I went in on this is they are providing a good rate on staked coins and the larger and longer you stake, you are also enrolling on the airdrop where the dex tokens would be distributed to the stakers and referrers at some time in future.

He is trying to spend $2.3 million to get the sold NFTs for the original price but whoever is accepting the deal has to waive off their rights to the claim against him in the future and for me its really an escape strategy orchestrated by him to get away with what he have done and pay just a small chunk than what he will pay in the penalty if he sued.

Logan Paul to ‘buy back’ CryptoZoo NFTs a year after promising refunds

The program would give NFT holders 0.1 ETH for each eligible NFT, but they would also need to waive any current or future claims against Paul.

YouTuber and social media influencer Logan Paul is set to refund certain disgruntled investors of his once ambitious CryptoZoo nonfungible token (NFT) game — a year after he promised NFT buyers recourse.

Logan said the “buy back” program will be funded by $2.3 million he is personally committing and will involve buying back Base Eggs and Base Animals at the original purchase price “for every person who intended to play CryptoZoo.”
