BACKGROUND:
Htmlcoin emerged in 2014 just as Bitcoin and other alt coins of the crypto world were beginning to firmly establish themselves as more than just passing fads. Htmlcoin founder, doctoral student Amando Boncales, saw the potential in cryptocurrencies and, even more so, the blockchain technology that all cryptocurrencies are built upon. He launched Htmlcoin with the firm belief that blockchain is the technology of tomorrow and harbors an important key to improving humanity’s future.
Immutable, cryptographic data storage, open decentralized ledger applications and use in the non profit projects.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING:
The exponential growth of Blockchain applications can benefit population health, medical records, and patient-generated data.

KSFI is partnering with the technology company HTMLCOIN LLC to utilize one of their products, The ALTHASH Blockchain on an initiative to introduce the use of Blockchain technology for non-profit organizations in the Philippines.
The importance of this partnership between the Funding Agencies and Non-for-Profit Organizations is the establishment and use of Blockchain technology among nonprofits in the Philippines.

On a Blockchain, transactions are recorded chronologically to form an immutable chain, and can be private or anonymous depending on how the technology is implemented. The ledger is distributed across many participants in the network—it doesn’t exist in one place. Instead, copies exist and are simultaneously updated with every fully participating node in the ecosystem. This has massive potential for nonprofit organizations.
A block could represent transactions and data of many types—currency, digital rights, intellectual property, identity, or property titles, to name a few.
The promise of Blockchain has widespread implications for stakeholders in the KSFI health care delivery ecosystem.  Critical information is scattered across different clinics and sometimes, it may not be accessible when needed the most. The current healthcare infrastructure has often been called inadequate to handle information exchange and requires certain tweaks. Capitalizing on Blockchain technology has the potential to connect fragmented clinics to generate insights and to better assess the value of care. In the long term, a nationwide Blockchain network for electronic medical records may improve efficiencies and support better health outcomes for patients.

PURPOSE:
This MOU will pilot the use of Blockchain technology for recording of healthcare transactions of KSFI’s Wellness network.
The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to formally create a mutually beneficial working relationship between the AltHash Blockchain and KSFI.
The above goals will be accomplished by undertaking the following activities:
1.   Signing of Memorandum of understanding between ALTHASH and KSFI witnessed and notarized by the Philippine Consul at the Philippine Consulate Chicago, Illinois. The MOU will be uploaded to the AltHash Blockchain.
2.   KSFI as the overseer of Wellness Family Midwife Clinics in Mindanao, A model clinic will be chosen as a beneficiary of having their newborns birth data registered in the AltHash Blockchain.
3.   The team behind the AltHash Blockchain will upload/hash the research outcomes gathered by KSFI into the AltHash Blockchain.
4.   KSFI will use Blockchain to apply advanced analytics from distributed sources without compromising the privacy of individuals.
5.   The services of AltHash Blockchain used by KSFI for the purpose of this MOU shall not be limited by the services exhaustively mentioned in this Agreement.

STATEMENT:
New Collaboration Promises to Use Technology to Reduce Newborn Mortality Rates

On September 26, 2018, at the Philippine Consular Office in Chicago, Illinois, Kinsang’an Foundation Inc. (KSFI) and the ALTHASH Blockchain, represented by HTMLCOIN LLC, will form a partnership focused on not-for-profit initiatives for social impact. The parties will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will be uploaded onto the ALTHASH blockchain.

A blockchain is a decentralized, distributed, and public digital ledger that is used to record transactions across many computers so that the record cannot be altered retroactively without the alteration of all subsequent blocks and the consensus of the network. It offers immutable, cryptographic data storage and open decentralized ledger applications.

Blockchain technology provides particular benefits to the non-profit health sector work conducted by KSFI. As the overseer of the Wellness Family Midwife Clinics in Mindanao, Philippines, KSFI will select one clinic to serve as a model clinic whose newborns will have their birth data registered on the ALTHASH blockchain. The ALTHASH team will then upload/hash the research outcomes resulting from KSFI’s use of the blockchain.

This project has the potential to drastically reduce the global number of newborn deaths, which reaches upwards of 2.7 million each year. In 2014, UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO) launched the Every Newborn Action Plan in an effort to decrease preventable newborn mortality and stillbirth. In the present record-keeping system in Filipino healthcare, critical information is scattered across different clinics and is often inaccessible when needed the most. The current healthcare infrastructure has often been called inadequate to handle information exchange and requires overhaul. Capitalizing on blockchain technology has the potential to connect fragmented clinics to generate insights and to better assess the value of care. In the long term, a nationwide blockchain network for electronic medical records can improve efficiencies and support better health outcomes for newborns.

We’re excited to announce the rebranding of our blockchain as the “ALTHASH” blockchain! HTMLCOIN will remain our company’s utility coin, and the blockchain is unchanged--except for the name. With this rebranding, we will become the only blockchain company in the world that has different names for its blockchain and utility coin. The idea for the change was born on September 17, 2017.

This change is prompted by our desire for the ALTHASH blockchain to be relevant to a wide range of industries beyond the niche market of cryptocurrency: security, quasi-financial payment systems, ecommerce, education, and more. Our goal is to develop products to optimize users’ experiences and, as such, we have many projects in the pipeline, from a token creation portal to gaming systems. “ALTHASH” gives us the fluidity we need to expand into these other areas.

AltHash Blockchain
The design and colors of our new logo embody our goals for the ALTHASH blockchain. The logo’s background colors--blue and turquoise--suggest peace and clarity. Their association with the ocean evokes a sense of calm. We selected white for the hash mark because of the color’s many positive connotations: innocence, purity, goodness, cleanliness. When people see white, they think of untouched snow or an angel’s flowing robes. In the case of high-tech products like ours, white conveys a reassuring sense of simplicity.

Blue, turquoise, and white connect well with our motto, pax mundi, which is Latin for “world peace.” Through the ALTHASH blockchain’s transparency, security, and decentralized nature, we hope to encourage a safer, more peaceful world.

Dear Htmlcoin Community,

With 2017 coming to a close, I wanted to take a moment to send out a special message to our entire community.

As I reflect upon this past year, I look at all the challenges we faced and overcame. When problems arose, we banded together and tirelessly sought out solutions that not only solved the problems at hand, but made both Htmlcoin and our community stronger. We adapted and moved forward, beating all odds along the way.  We persevered.

Since our launch in early 2014, we have evolved from a basic cryptocurrency to a blockchain platform with the ability to handle smart contracts, Dapps, and much more.  Our evolution from a singular cryptocurrency focus to that of a multi-faceted blockchain community has been deliberate as we strive to be responsive and relevant to the current state of the new global blockchain phenomenon.

Now, as I look toward  2018, I believe that we will emerge as a leader in this new competitive cryptocurrency and blockchain world economy. Why?--because of our amazing community and our ability to adapt. Anyone can launch a cryptocurrency, but not everyone has the positive and unflinching massive community support that we have, not to mention the dedicated professionals from all sectors of the cyrptocurrency and business space that are committed to developing and promoting our coin and blockchain worldwide.  We are poised to make a difference!

So, as we all move forward this next year, let's have a look at where we have been and how much we have accomplished. Let's revel in what we have overcome and allow ourselves a pat on our own backs. But more than anything, let's allow ourselves to become excited with what we, as a community, have built and the potentials we have created.  Hard work is still ahead of us, but it will be exciting and the possibilities are endless. We have reached out to CMC to ask them to list HTML and remove HTML5. They informed us they cannot do that until the volume for HTML5 goes to 0, so CMC will only track HTML5 and only on Yobit until 24 hours after the Yobit swap is complete.

Users have opened an inquiry with the FBI, and, as the HTMLCOIN Foundation will be fully cooperating with authorities, we cannot comment beyond that we are aware of the issue and users who are affected should contact the FBI. We do not condone any users considering criminal or unethical behavior and you will be banned if you make such suggestions in this forum.
**Update: The HTMLCOIN community contacted the FBI regarding the disappearance of Coingather. The FBI informed them that they were already investigating. Any affected party should fill out this form to help build the case faster.

7. Where should I store my HTML, on an exchange or in my own wallet?:


The general rule of thumb for cryptocurrency is to own your own wallet and keys. If you are careful about how you keep your wallet and mindful of your security, holding your coins in your own wallet takes the risk of keeping your coins on an exchange out of the equation. There is always risk associated with holding coins on exchanges. Ask yourself who you trust more with your coins, yourself or an exchange. See #6, above, for more information.



8. How do I mine HTML?
The HTML wallet supports CPU mining through the “generate” function. There is currently no support for GPU mining or use of an ASIC through an external miner. To mine in the wallet, pull up the command line by going to Help>Debug and clicking the command line tab. Then type “generate 101 999999999”. This will try 999999999 times to generate 101 blocks. The operation will run once and then return with brackets (no blocks found) or brackets with a hash inside (each hash represents one block found). You can quickly spam the generate command a bunch of times and they will stack and run in order. Once the last command completes, you will need to run them again. Some clever users have automated the generate command running the wallet via command line through a script. Poke around in this telegram and you may find someone willing to help you implement such a script. We are in the process of developing an external miner so folks can run GPUs or ASICs, but, for now, everyone has a fair shot at mining with their CPU ⛏.



9. How do I stake?
With coins in your HTML wallet, lock your wallet and then unlock the wallet using the “unlock for staking only” box. Once you unlock for staking, you must leave your computer on, with the wallet open, connected to the internet. You will start finding blocks based on your share of the total network stake rate. Your blocks will average out to give you about 1% new coins per year, all while securing the HTMLCOIN network and processing transactions (it’s cool, we know!).
