Trading / Step you have to take before venturing into the market
« on: January 10, 2024, 03:48:54 PM »
In as much as trading can be very profitable if carried out properly, it also can be very risky, because you can lose all your fund if not done properly, so today I will be listing down step you have to make first before venturing into the market;

(1) Go for knowledge first: as a crypto enthusiastic or an investor it's very necessary that you knows all that it entails on how to navigate your way safely in the crypto industry.
Knowledge to me is paramount because with it,  you will know how to react in certain situations, which will really be helpful in your crypto journey.

(2) you must learn how to be patient: without patience it's nearly impossible to be successful in the crypto market, that is one of the virtue required in the craft.

(3) Do not see trading as a get rich quick scheme: mostly the set of people that falls into this particular trap is the newbie's, but after some series of losses, they will discover that it's not really what they thought it is.

(4) learn how to control your emotions: as simple as we mostly thought it is, it's one of the most difficult,  but it's very advicable that you trade with what you can afford to lose so that your emotions can be in check.

(5) plan your entry and exit point: most times this lack of planning cost us dearly, because failing to plan is like planning to fail.

(6) leaverage : before trading, know how to use your leaverage properly, almost all unprofitable traders is a victim of this, they uses too much high leaverage which can make you get liquidated easily.

(7) know how to manage your risk: in other to stay in the market for long, you have to know how to protect yourself ( your capital), protect it with all your might, pay more attention to this, because you might win five trades in a row and lose everything at once if you don't know how to manage your risk.

(Cool wait for the right setup: trade only when you are sure of the market, if you don't see the right setup don't trade, it's better your capital is intact than risking it when not sure. Even though it warrant you to trade once in a week, it's better than losing.

So I week ago I used a mixer to send .1 eth from one wallet to another.  The wallets I used have never been sent to or from a CEX but did have the connection indirectly.  So yeah I just got banned from my main exchange that I hardly use anyways but would need it to go fiat on/offramp.  So is anything connected to this wallet tainted now?  Will I be able to use a different CEX for on/off ramp?  I am american btw.  What do I do now?

Crypto Discussion / What if DEXs are banned in the future?
« on: December 27, 2023, 09:14:31 AM »
Governments seem to come up with something new to prevent crypto from achieving its full potential. From cracking down on mixers and enforcing KYC across centralized exchanges, they aim keep crypto under their control. The only things they can't manipulate or enforce the rule of law (aside from blockchain networks themselves) are decentralized exchanges.

But what if governments decide to hunt down the developers of DEXs? Or what if they estalish a law where developing a non-compliant DEX (no-KYC) can be subject to prosecution (jail time or fines)? If that happens, the industry will be doomed. With a US senator drafting the "Digital Currency Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2023", anything's possible.

What do you think will happen if DEXs are "banned" in the future? Will they die? Or will they still survive (despite the fact that most people will avoid them to prevent jail time or being fined)?

Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

Trading / Working out Risk on a Trade
« on: December 27, 2023, 08:56:27 AM »

If I have 2139 USDT in my trading account, and I wish to risk a max of 1% on every trade, how would you see that?

Would you take that to mean that I place a stop loss equivalent to $21.39 away from my entry?

or would you use some other calculation for stop loss placement?

Or do you understand something different when I say I want to risk 1% of my account on the trade?

If you look at my image, the Right side shows Binance. I have slid the slider to 1% and it shows that I can trade with 34 XRP.
While the left side shows Tradingview. I have entered 1% risk in there and it gives me 21378 XRP to trade with.

Something is confusing here.

Appreciate any clarity.

Crypto Discussion / Gaming Future and AAA Projects
« on: December 20, 2023, 12:34:52 PM »
Gaming Tokens are one of the best options to put some money. You have the hubs like $GALA, $ALU , Gaming Environments like $IMX and $BEAM, and some strong projects on P2E like SHRAP and now $ACE two AAA games, the first ones on Crypto. The last two are on Bitget, and ACE has a strong trend.

Do you think that AAA Games have a future in crypto? How upcoming projects can avoid a downfall like Axie Infinity?

Crypto Discussion / Few crypto thoughts of the day
« on: September 18, 2022, 04:40:08 PM »
1. The minimum deep that BTC dived to was 17,500$ do you still think we are going below 13,000$? If yes please explain.
2. Does it matter if you build a crypto portfolio at 15k per BTC or 10k per BTC.
3. In 2020 covid was the reason why BTC crumbled to 3,500$ what will happen in 2023 that will bring the same deep dive to crypto market.
4. Crypto keeps looking stronger every year, it's getting more recognised and big players of the world are saying BTC is a better store of value than the dollar for long term, are they right.

The Terra open-source blockchain project helps developers create decentralized applications and web3 products that can be used to power the next generation. Founders of Terra are Do Kwon and Daniel Shin.

Due to the considerable drop in Terra’s price in the market, Terra was split into Terra 2.0, which is known as Terra (LUNA) today, and Terra Classic (LUNC), which was previously Terra. Terra blockchain is a community-owned, permissionless system.

Terra Luna Classic (LUNC)’s circulating supply is 6,151.07B LUNC while its maximum supply is unknown as per CoinMarketCap. LUNC Inu (LUNC) can be traded on top cryptocurrency exchanges including Binance, Huobi Global, Gate.io, Kucoin, and others.

Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) Price Prediction 2022

After touching support levels of $0.00028 and $0.00023, LUNC price swung from $0.00045 resistance2 to $0.00038 resistance1.

The market has reversed at the support level of $0.00028 and is now going sideways. Expected to be bullish in coming weeks.

In the meantime, our long-term LUNC price prediction for 2022 is bullish since it cannot break the current support level anytime soon. We can expect LUNC to reach $0.001 in 2022.

With DeFi projects struggling to regain trust since LUNA's collapse, and the current bear market I think this was the perfect time for the play to earn gaming sector to explode, or at least to gain traction in the way Axie Infinity did in early 2021. Sadly just there aren't any exciting offerings right now that I can see... Illuvium and Star Atlas, two of the first "AAA" games in the space are still in development, and may be for another year or so. I heard Marvel was getting into the space with their own breed of games soon, but so far ... nothing, same goes for "Swords of Blood", another AAA game that is still in development.
I mean, it looks like 2024 will be a great year for crypto play to earn games when these games get released, but what do we have now, 2022 ?  DeFi Kingdoms ? TownStar ? My Neighbour Alice ? Gods Unchained ? Yes we have those ( unless I'm mistaken ) and they kinddaaa look interesting but to be honest they can't possibly compete for users with the mainstream games currently out there, which will cost you money and won't earn you a penny. Let's face it, some of us older gamers here don't have many spare hours a day , maybe one hour, and if that hour will earn me $20 and looks kind of lame or childish, I rather spend that hour playing something that looks amazing or intricate or fun , even if it costs me money. So it's a long shot for Gaming studios like Gala Games or Vulcan Forged to try to lure new gamers into the space in 2022 -2023 with the current lineup of childish and lame games we have.
