#2 What's the difference between a regular AWS account and an AWS Educate Starter Account?
AWS Educate Starter Accounts are managed by a third party (Vocareum). Starter Accounts are subject to a separate agreement between you and Vocareum under separate terms and conditions.

You don't need a credit card to use a Starter Account, because free AWS Educate promotional credits are already available on the account. When you exhaust the balance on the account, the account is closed, and any running services or other resources on the account are lost.

Note: Starter Accounts can use only some AWS services.

For a given Credit Name/Event ID, a limited number of codes can be applied to one AWS account. The limited number is the stack number. There are many possibilities for the stack number, such as 1x,2x,4x,5x. So please check this stack number carefully before purchase. Also, please note that the code is one-time only. You need different codes to reach the stack limitation. And the stack limitation is a life limitation. #3 How many codes can I apply to one AWS account? What is Credit Name/Event ID?

Credit Name is the same as the Event ID. They are just different names. Credit Name is the key to code purchase. You need to keep your own code credit name record to avoid the credit name stack issue.

d. If more credits are needed for one AWS account, trying to find different credit names codes will help

e. If there is any difference in the full credit name strings, they are different credit names. For example, EDU_ENG_FY2019_Q4_11a_AWSEDUCATE_150USD is not the older EDU_ENG_FY2019_Q4_11_AWSEDUCATE_150USD. There is an extra "a" in the new credit name. So they are two different credit names, and they can be redeemed together to the same AWS account. EDU_ENG_FY2019_Q4_11a_AWSEDUCATE_150USD is the newer one.
