Hello everybody,

I'm searching for a reliable, cheap private detective agency who will have to 'spy' on a girl for 1 to 3 days. I searched via google on them and found a couple, but don't have any idea if they are reliable. I'm not sure if I can post their adress since it may go against the rules (if not, i'll post them in my second post).

my apologies if this was posted in the wrong forum section

kind regards

General Discussion, Non Crypto Stuff / Need divorce advise

After much heartbreak I'm looking for a good divorce lawyer in New York. Can anyone recommend someone they have had a positive experience with?  Any thoughts on that would be appreciated as well...

I`m currently living in a very nice upper middle class neighborhood. But I`m looking to purchase a small condo at price range $100,000 - $150,000 in NY I want to lease it out and collect rent. I am willing to pay cash and I don't even need a loan from the bank.
The real estate agent I contacted with told me on the phone, "It is a waste of time because I am not interested in showing you 10 houses at that price range. Maybe next time.
What? Why are SOME real estate agents so unprofessional now?

So I was in a car accident a few months ago; the other driver was at fault. My car repair costs were ~$3,500. My medical bills were ~$1,400. My lost wages were ~$600.

The third-party insurance company paid for my car repair, and has offered me a settlement of ~$2,800: ~$1,400 for medical bills (to be paid directly to the medical provider), and ~$1,400 for pain/suffering, and lost wages. They've offered $0 for car diminished value; my car is 2 years old with <20,000 miles.

Any opinions whether this settlement offer is reasonable, or how I should counter? Thanks so much for any advice!

Has anyone here tried the weighted blankets for help with anxiety, nightmares/sleep? I’ve been looking at them for a long time...they aren’t cheap so I just wondered how much they help. I hate to pay that much just to TRY something, but if it works it would be worth it. I wonder if it gets too hot?

Hello all,

My family and me want to plan a 8-9 day vacation from New York - first to Turkey (Istanbul) and then to Greece. We have not finalized which islands in Greece but we would love to visit Athens and either Santorini or another island. How many days do you think we should spend in Turkey and how many in Greece? Can someone help me plan this trip.. We want to plan it in the most time and money efficient way possible. Do you guys know about any ferries from Istanbul to Greece? Any help would be greatly appreicated. Thank you!

General Discussion, Non Crypto Stuff / Advice on Divorce Lawyers?
« on: November 23, 2018, 03:59:48 PM »
Hi all,

I've decided to get my own lawyer to file for divorce. However in calling up a few firms to make an appointment for first consult, I ran into a few unexpected problems I've never come across in the States whenever I needed a lawyer.

1. Attitude Problem - a guy in Hong Lim Complex was downright rude and boorish, and I found out he was the head lawyer!

2. Lack of Confidence - a few firms didn't strike me as being professional at all. No greeting and introduction, no manners. I am thinking can I trust these people?

3. Yaya-ism - I was as honest as I could. I spoke to a few and told them I was willing to pay for an initial consultation just so I could get a feel for the lawyer I'd be working with, and see if our personalities match. They didn't see the rationale in that. One lawyer even passed me the number of another lawyer and firm, claiming that she was leaving the firm so couldn't take my case. Some didn't like my asking how long they'd been doing divorce cases.

4. No free consult - told me it was the norm for divorce cases to be no free consult unlike for other types of cases. Is this true?

I am sure that I would not be the only person to face this, yet it seems common. So I'd like advice on how to choose one, since it looks like I'll have go with one of these in the end. I'd also really appreciate pointers in divorce lawyers anyone has good experiences with.

Thanks!

Cryptocurrency Gaming & Gambling / Question about betting
« on: September 29, 2018, 06:35:09 PM »
I had a debate with several family members a few weeks back and we couldn't come to a conclusion.. maybe someone here can shine some light on this..

In sports/racing betting, I'm fully aware that the odds are ever changing. I was wondering, if I make a wager on a team or on a horse... does my bet "lock in" the odds at that second, or will it only pay what the odds are when the close the bets..

Basically, if I were to go to vegas or any other sports betting place and bet on a longshot horse (or say longshot football team) and put down $100 on a 500:1 bet. Later on in the year, 1-2 months later, the odds change drastically and the team/horse now becomes the favorite and now pays 2:1 on bets instead of the 500:1. would I be looking at a 200 payout or a 50,000 payout? I'm wondering if it's better to get in early before odds change, or if I should wait til last minute to place the bet to know what I'm looking at payout wise.

This is all theoretical, I haven't made any sports bets...yet.

General Discussion, Non Crypto Stuff / Do nootropics really work?
« on: September 06, 2018, 04:55:15 PM »
Hi

I recently bumped in to the fenomena nootropics, uncontrolled substances that state they can make you more effective, more focussed, give you a better memory so improve your learning skills and even makes your Brian act faster and so makes you even smarter. To me this sounds "to good to be true" BUT many people do use it mayority are very high educated people and they say it DOES work on them. Efficiency of the substance seems to differ from 1 to another but this is easily declared by difference in metabolism in each person. There are many "versions" or substances of which they clame have these effects. Most recent and most effective in ammount to effectivenes seems to be noopept. This is one of the few not belonging to the chemical RACETAM familly. They clame a dose of 30mg a day makes you smarter, more focussed, more efficient, a better probleem solving mechanism and learn things a lot easier. They explain it as if like Only 60% of your Brian capacity is in duty on average most of the time. With these substitutes it will increase to 90%. Also they claim governements do not want to examine these substances to prove wrong or right.

Now my questions are:

If all is true than why isnt this info spread out to public?

What can be the negative side effects of these substances?

What is it going to bring us? If used for passing exams than wont they just make these more difficult to keep average in balance?

Note: it should be invented for people with memory loss and such. And/or other ilnesses that are effected by a lack of brain functioning.

I looked up some more info which i will paste below to make you guys more easy.

It does have a few side effects which are (i suppose) caused by overactivity of the brain for too long. Anyway i would appreciatie if you guys can inform me more before i might try it.

Noopept is the brand name for N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester , a synthetic nootropic molecule.

Noopept has a similar effect to piracetam, in that it provides a mild cognitive boost after supplementation. Noopept also provides a subtle psychostimulatory effect.

Noopept has a much lower standard dose than piracetam (10-30mg, compared to 4800mg), and it provides a general neuroprotective effect after supplementation. This neuroprotective effect occurs during various states of cognitive trauma, including oxidative stress and physical trauma. There is, however, no evidence to suggest Noopept provides benefits for people with no cognitive ailments.

More studies are needed to determine the main mechanisms responsible for Noopepts neuroprotective effect.

The only human study comparing Noopept and piracetam suggests the two have a comparable effect, once the smaller effective dose is taken into account.

HOW IT WORKS

Users of Noopept report results of improved clarity, better memory, and focus. More studies are required to determine exactly how Noopept delivers its benefits to the human brain. Studies on animals have shown that Noopept increased alpha/beta1 activity in all brain areas.

In humans, based on observational, uncontrolled studies, Noopept demonstrated rehabilitative benefits to patients with mild cognitive disorders. Currently, Noopept tablets are undergoing clinical assessment as a way of treating cognitive deficiency of post-traumatic origin and cerebrovascular cause. The brain benefits are derived from antioxidant action, anti-inflammatory properties, and the inhibition of toxicity with the elimination of excess glutamate and calcium. It was also observed that blood composition and flow were improved.

Taken orally, Noopept is absorbed by the digestive system and then readily crosses the blood-brain barrier. When administered in the proper dosages, it is nearly completely used by the brain and very little is wasted. Noopept targets glutamate receptor sites where it is believed to bind with the glutamate and inhibit breakdown. Glutamate, being one of the most powerful neurotransmitters, supports and expands cognitive functioning.

Noopept acts quickly once it is in the bloodstream, maximizing concentration after just 15 to 20 minutes. Advocates of the supplement report the flooding of clarity brought on by the immediate advantage of additional oxygen to the brain and improved glucose use. Many individuals report improved vision and sharper, more vibrant colors. Others have even reported enhanced hearing following just a short period of usage.

SIDE EFFECTS

For all the positive effects that Noopept may have on your cognitive health, it has only a few occasionally reported minor side effects that should be noted such as headaches, restlessness, dizziness, and irritability.

These are most common when Noopept is taken in high doses.

Further evidence also suggests that Noopept can enhance the effects of stimulants such as amphetamines so caution is advised.

Now my questions are:

If all is true than why isnt this info spread out to public?

What can be the negative side effects of these substances?

What is it going to bring us? If used for passing exams than wont they just make these more difficult to keep average in balance.

Doesnt it exhaust your neurotransmitter battery? People claim using it for years!
