Crypto Discussion / Re: How to Create ERC20 Token for your Business?
« on: July 28, 2021, 02:45:05 PM »
Creating coins is easy these days... the more important question is what real world utility a coin might serve or what problem it might solve and how to ensure its long term viability.

"Schemes" imply illegal...

Legally, you can invest in reputable projects that will grow in time... or you can stake / participate in yield farming.

An ETF in the US would be that best one... soon as any gets approved.

Crypto Discussion / Re: Smart Contracts Explained for Beginners
« on: July 23, 2021, 03:32:47 PM »
Smart contracts are simply programmable value that will behave (transfer value) autonomously in a predefined (programmed) fashion without the need for intervention or authorization of a central authority. It is the basis of DeFi.

Bitcoin more than any other country or industry out there uses renewable energy sources and the pace at which traditional sources are being replaced with renewable energy sources is much more accelerated in bitcoin as compared with any other industry out there... so the environmental impact is becoming less of a concern everyday.

Furthermore we have to consider that bitcoin brings financial freedom to the world and for such an amazing thing, there is a price: it's the energy used to secure the network.... as compared with everything else we spend energy on, spending %0.1 of our energy worldwide on bitcoin (the current estimate of worldwide energy put into bitcoin) is well worth the benefit it is giving us.

The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of many digital and communication technologies for the most part as a result of the lockdown ---> people being forced to do things from home they wouldn't normally do remotely, and also having more time on their hands to get into things like crypto trading that they may not have ventured into had it not been for the lockdown.

Trading / Re: Why do crypto traders use trading bot?
« on: July 20, 2021, 03:07:57 PM »
There are trading bots, but they are not everything they are not money printing machines that the name might suggest. However there are viable bots that will execute a user-defined strategy... beyond these there are services where one can copy trades of a professional / successful trader and doing so might be more fruitful than trying to use a trading bot.

Crypto Discussion / Re: What is the best investment on July 20?

As prices go further down, it's becoming a better and better opportunity to buy bitcoin... or ETH, ADA, DOT, or whatever project you like.

Crypto Discussion / Re: Polkadot Price Speculations
« on: July 20, 2021, 03:04:08 PM »
It's easier with any coin with a smaller market cap relative to bitcoin to outgrow bitcoin's growth. This doesn't make it a better investment necessarily, however DOT is well-known and reputable project with an expanding ecosystem and is here to stay for the long haul.

Most recently Facebook's Diem project announced they will be using Polkadot as a test network for Diem.

Crypto Discussion / Re: BTC / Crypto Wallets

BTC in my opinion. We can store it on some secure exchange like Tokenomy.

It is always safer to store bitcoin in your own wallet rather than an exchange, major exchanges have been hacked in the past where people lost millions of dollars.

Crypto Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling recently?
« on: July 19, 2021, 03:42:04 PM »
Or it would just be that the market in entering the bear cycle earlier than expected... but yes those events could have triggered early entry into the bear market.

A recovery to ATHs before the end of the year (or by the end of the year or early into next year) of course can't be ruled out... 6 months is a long time in crypto and everything can change.

Time will tell at this point.

Bitcoin is traded 24/7/365 -- there is no other way for the price action to behave when this is the case.

Well the unlocking is in 2 days... within a week after that we would see the effect (if any).
