We are preparing to replace the doors of our kitchen cabinets, some of which will have "glass" panes. For safety and so on, We plan to use acrylic instead of real glass for the panes.

Looking for suppliers of plastic materials in the Internet, I see both extruded and cast acrylic sheet material. What should I choose?

And what is a good thickness of plastic to use?

I'm sure I can get recommendations from any supplier I contact, but I like to have some idea of what I'm doing first.

Hi guys, what is Your opinion about mock houses that have a design where as soon as you walk in the front door, you can walk and look in a straight line into the living room. On the other hand, you have layouts where there is a wall blocking the view of the rest of the house. Obviously, each has its own pros and cons.

By going through more threads than I like to think (choosing a sewing machine is akin to pinning threads: rolleyes:), I'm looking at getting a singer. Not for serious sail repairs, but for one or two layers of canvas and the like. Does anyone have any views on this or alternatives?
