Crypto Discussion / Re: Is Zcash a fork of Bitcoin?
« on: August 30, 2019, 11:02:22 AM »
Yes, Zcash a fork of bitcoin. The Zcash community is planning to include scalability improvements to allow practically unlimited numbers of transactions, novel consensus algorithms such as Proof-of-Stake, and private and scalable smart contracts. These developments might have a positive effect on the valuation of Zcash and it might rise to reach the $500 mark. There’s no doubting that Zcash has some impressive features, most notably the ability to combine privacy with fungibility. Its relationship with Ethereum proves that it has been backed by a strong and committed development team. So you can be positive about the zec to btc price.

It is funny how in theory every Bitcoin fork brings a lot of major improvements and even broadens the scope of BTC usability and yet they always fail to gain even remotely similar popularity or value as the good old BTC. I would say, if you want to invest in BTC blockchain, just buy BTC and to include some completely different altcoins to diversify the portfolio. Maybe brand new blockchains, or XRP, or something on ERC20 standard.

Of course, this does not concern DOGE, that is in a league of its own :)

How do you buy clothes on the internet? I always wanted to, because some brands are not available where I live, but I don't understand how you can buy something without trying it on first. What if it doesn't fit?

But you can easily miss something promising but not so popular as BTC or ETH as you cannot research every coin.
Don't listen to strangers. Research coinmarketcap by yourself from every beginning.

Well maybe it isn't worth to be researched

Why is it not worth researching CMC?

I haven't been but my folks have long ago. I believe any place is a good for travel because our experiences are subjective anyway. Better check if there is anything in Sri Lanka that appeals to you.

Every destination is amazing in its own right!

Crypto Discussion / What is your Bitcoin price prediction for 2019?
« on: August 25, 2019, 08:20:25 PM »
Hey guys! Just wanted to have some fun and share ideas on how much Bitcoin will cost by the end of the year and why.
I personally think that it will at least come close to the ATH because there is some shady pumping going on by the whales.
What is your take?

It's needed to buy this rocks for fishes?

It must be up to you. If you think it brings advantages, you can consider buying. But if you think it will be useless, then no need to buy.
Is it simple, right? I don't see any problem here, you can get the answer yourself. So why you ask people, dude?..  :D
It actually isn't a matter of personal preference. Fish feel better when they have some sort of natural cover they can use, like these rocks so, yeah, if you want them to be happy and healthy the aquarium should be decorated with rocks, underwater plants and so on.

Is Sri Lanka a good place to travel?
Sri Lanka is amazing! I've stayed there for about a month a while back, in Hikkaduwa to be exact. Beautiful ocean, surfing, wonderful people, great food, amazing scenery... And best of all, we went on a real safari there for a fraction of the cost compared to what is available in Africa! We've seen a wild bear, wild leopard, wild elephants, wild water buffalos, and different smaller animals and birds.

Crypto Discussion / Re: Should I invest In Ripple?
« on: August 22, 2019, 11:20:06 AM »

Ripple has slowly but surely exerted its influence in the important power structures in the financial world and the eventual mainstreaming of xRapid could lead to large scale institutional use of XRP. With the use of XRP, large central banks would no longer have to be held hostage by volatile foreign currencies, and there lies the big opportunity for the cryptocurrency. If the company can actually sign up more institutional clients during the rest of the year, then it could be a huge boost for XRP.
This is where the somewhat centralized design of XRP is a huge advantage. Maybe these guys were actually way smarter than everyone else tryting to do unregulated and privacy focused coins.

I don't understand people who like Libra as let's be honest it's not a coin at all
true, what's more, it was said that Libra might never be launched because of lack of experience connected with this industry. but I am bit curious how would it look like if it succeed
Before their experience comes into play they have to sort all of the regulatory issues... They already have their work cut out for them.
