Title: Has anyone made money by investing in crowdfunded startups?

What do you think about Fluency bank?
They have just opened pre-register on Seedrs.
At the moment I see that this is a really worthwhile project and I like how it will all work further and the prospect will be huge as the project will be able to scale quickly

Can't find anything about the team behind it in their website, no White Paper?
So why would anyone " sane " put his money there?
