Dear bitcoin community,
I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.
Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.
So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?
I have presented my theory, but what do you think?
Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.
I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.

By end of 2020 I would prefer holding BTC as the halving id going to be in 2020. Exchanging alts for short term profit is good but for long term I exchange many of my alts to BTC. Also currently the xmr to btc (https://coinswitch.co/coins/monero/monero-to-bitcoin) price is reasonable.

Maybe XMR is now quite proud to hold, because the project is also quite clear. But until now I have not held it myself, my choice is still at ETH

Why you asked the question, mate? Are you holding Monero or having a plan to buy Monero?
FYI, Monero [XMR] is in rank 13 on coinmarketcap. It shows us that Manero is a popular coin and very recommended to buy or hold. With the current rising about 7.66%, I think it indicates potential profits in this coin.

If i talked about my personal experince that i will must hold bitcoin.. because now a days bitcoin's prices are on the top level and in 2020 it will hit 20k according the prediction of people..

Monero is classified among cryptocurrency so thereby is a good investment since is a financial assets which can be exchange with any of the cryptocurrency is a good project to invest on because anything can happen in the future monero may increase in price value I think is a good investment to hold.

if my opinion of investing in Monero will also be profitable, because Monero also has terms and conditions that are good for their customers. Over time, their profits will be high in the near future

yes I think right now is the right time to get a lot of monero this year, because the development of monero prices has also given good value in some time now. so I believe holding back a lot of monero will also produce good profits in the future

Well Monero is also best for holding.. but Bitcoin is always remain on top...no one will beat them

Frankly speaking, there are better options available, so that’s why Monero won’t be exactly on my wish list but it is not exactly all that bad. I will prefer to track all Top Crypto (https://cryptolinks.com/coin-tracking) options, as it is what will help you decide up with which option you should be picking. When you talk about investments, it is so important that we are highly selective with our option because that is what will eventually help us and will save us from making any mistakes.

Monero is a good investment to hold for the long term because it has a potential in the future. The community of Monero is healthy and the volume of it in the market is also good thus in the future you can make a profit out of it. Monero has a great potential to grow and become more popular currency. However, any kind of investing contains risks and you always need to make your own research before buying.

Yes it is a good investment, they have proven their capacity of doing private transactions and stays at the top 20 of coinmarketcap, by the way many says that privacy coins have the best potential in the future.

for me monero is good enough for investment now, why ?? because Monero is a coinmarketcap top 100. Monero is also good for long-term investment, I also invest there. I only have a few monero.
