I discovered that there are thousands of altcoins listed in the exchange while some are dead altcoins and some are struggling to rise in price value, which prompted me to ask this questions, can others altcoins survive like Bitcoin and etherum and what are the possibility that is going survive and many of us are holding different coins in our wallet.

I think only the top coins can survive like bitcoin, ethereum, xrp, bnb and btg. It may take 1-2 years for other altcoins to compete and grow healthily.

When it comes to survival; it depends on a lot of factors
Bitcoin etherum ripple litecoin are all good prospects; but altcoins are also strong; but most altcoins will die eventually

When altcoins are not needed by everyone, any coins will become extinct and cannot be maintained.
Cryptocurrency is a technology that will continue to be developed and I'm sure Altcoin will be used as a legitimate payment instrument in the future, also in accordance with the ability of developers to always develop products from that platform

Agree with this, short but sweet. Despite of the current situation of Ethereum I'm sure that they can survive in this market. They are one of the OG's in the space and seeing them fall makes me quit on doing bounties.

Most other altcoins will die due to lack of development and engagement for the community, in my opinion only with the ratio of good coins are in 1:100 so it is not surprising to see coins being dead

That's true, coin with quirk like veil will definitely have a higher chance, many coins are just being an ordinary coin that just the same as Ethereum or Bitcoin without giving any additional abilities or quirk that alone make them just seem really ordinary that no one wants to put their attention into such a thing.

This is where the trust of the community in a project comes into play. If a project is mainly built out of hype and has not been able to form a strong community, that project is doomed to fail.

for me also most Altcoin will also last longer, like a good project so they will also get better benefits, because the altcoin that is made also has good advantages and also many who use it so I'm sure the altcoin will also survive.

The very way coins are pumping is actually alarming. Going with this measure will definitely take market time to recover, but despite the population there are potential coins pumping hard and doing great in the market not minding market condition. I think only the strongest ones will survive at the market, there are so many smaller coins but the intense competition won't let them survive for a longer time. The market is flooded with the shitcoins, or weak coins which aren't contributing anything new to the game, it's obvious that after some time many of them will collapse. I think the coins which have some unique features will survive mostly people think coins are just for trading purposes but also has other features so like privacy and some coins offer to mine I think the coins which have these kinds of features will survive not to matter if they have low capital yet.

Yes, I think that there is still future for some altcoins. Of course, not for every one, but this market is full of promising ones.

Some of them may survive and grow little bt on the exchange. But, some others may be not able to enter the good market. I don't think all values of crypto coins are going down. Some still continue to grow and improve their prices. But surely, some have been experiencing the drop in prices. Anyway, why do you think crypto coins haven't a long future? Don't you see a coin like BTC survived for years?
