Tron, which presents itself as a competitor to Ethereum (ETH) for launching cryptocurrency tokens and other offerings, is preparing to increase its appeal to institutional users.
According to Sun, the hard fork will deliver institution-handling capabilities, as well as other features such as multi-signature abilities and account management options.
Tron’s TRX token appeared to react to the news when it surfaced last week, before a downturn in the price of Bitcoin (BTC) saw the altcoin also fall 9 percent in Monday trading.
Under Sun, the company has pursued an aggressive expansion program, which saw it acquire BitTorrent, the operator of popular torrent client uTorrent, last year.
At the same time, publicity measures by Sun have come in for criticism due to their public condemnation of Ethereum.
As Cointelegraph reported, some commentators have taken a dislike to Tron, with Stellar (XRM) Jed McCaleb lambasting the platform in an interview over the new year.

Indeed this coin is always hyped so invest and holding now would bring a good profit for investors cause the price still low now

I see Trx still in a safe condition and a pretty good increase. today the trx is back up a few percent. For me, trx is still feasible for trade and investment next month.

I think Tron tries to compete with other coins like Ethereum. It wants to see the improvement of its value by providing new hard fork.
In my opinion, it is a good way to attract people interest to buy more Tron. But if it is failed, many people may leave Litecoin as their goals for a new investment.

That what I love about Tron they are very active in development, I love Ethereum but their hardfork was a pain in the *** and keep delayed time after another, I dream about the time I see Ethereum finally move with its development without all this delay until this moment Ethereum in my #1 Altcoin and I hope that will not change soon.

Agree with you guys, when you have the chance to buy trx at a low price, grab it. Justin is the master of hype and trx have many supporters as well and solid platform.

It’s also has many successful in the start of 2019 too, the biggest is TRX has worked with BTT to make airdrop on TrX holder every month from now till 2025, Justin for sure know how to stable price of his coin

I heard Tron in recent days has been constantly hitting the news and is outperforming all its near rivals Ethereum.I also heard Tron has become the leading Dapp platform in the world in term of its users.

It is good news for Tron holders and also crypto enthusiasts as a whole. I think it will make TRX price be increasing fastly. If the plan of hard fork become successful, TRX maybe go to the moon. ;D

Great news, Etherum is on the second place jus behind the bitcoin from long time, maybe this fork will make Tron more competitive for it and start some changes on the market
Btw, I see many news about forks last time. Not so long time ago I read about FuturoCoin (https://futurocoin.com) fork, and now Tron.. But it's good, it means to me that crypto are developing

Looks like Justin Sun knows what he is doing with his company. It's always difficult and riskful to intervene with such things, but when it comes to new solutions it looks like TRON team knows what is the best for users. Really glad how they emphasize they effort on security systems.

I've also heard about FTO fork couple days ago. They didn't put anywhere official info though, it's not confirmed yet. Looks like it's another success for FTO team this year - after signing that sponsorship deal with F1 Red Bull Team (via: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190205005454/en/FuturoCoin-Unveiled-Partner-Aston-Martin-Red-Bull). Let's see what happens next.

This is very execiting news. any alternative coins that experience an increase are good news, hopefully soon followed by other altcoins and not only in february but will continue to rice and stabilize the following month.
