I like to do both... Def short term so that I can continue to trade daily throughout both rising and falling markets with margin trading, at the same time as holding some coins I believe will significantly increase over the long term as mainstream adoption of crypto takes place in the coming years.

A successful trader is one who handles it specifically according to the situation. If we try to make it one way traffic, then we will have too many days when we will be uncertain as where to go. This is where and why it becomes so important to be open to all situations, which then will make the task so much easier for us.

I enjoy discussing and keeping myself updated with the situation, but by large, I am following up buyforexsignals services since not only they are deadly accurate (85%+) but also incredibly simpler to use. And the tipping for me is that I work with Avatrade (http://www.buyforexsignals.com/email-campaign/index.html) broker, through which this $120-130 worth service becomes completely Free Forex Signals (http://www.buyforexsignals.com/email-campaign/index.html) service!

I use to divide my investment into both terms. Short term for my daily profit, long term for my future life :)

I also like both, short-term or long-term investments, long-term investments as future savings that will only hold and wait, if the price rises sharply I will sell some, I buy other coins that are lower in price and hold again. I do short-term investment as a day-to-day job to cover my monthly living needs.

If you want to choose short term or long term. Look first at the market conditions and conditions of the coins that you are going to buy, see the story of their highest prices to what and how low they are so that there is no deep loss

Private subject of investment But many can not make the right decision. Investments depend on the amount of money If you have money to invest in the long team then it is better to invest in the long team. And if it does not, then do not do it. Both are very good.

I think it depends on each of us. If you look at the growth of bitcoin prices, it's now growing, so for me it's also good to be an investment in the long run, because I also believe the future of bitcoin will be better off making more profits.

Short and long term investment is totally different from each other they have completely different styles from each other and to be honest it is all down to the person who investing and what style he likes and feels more comfortable doing.

I read the opinion: “The key number to watch is the 200-day moving average… BTC’s bouncing along that. If Bitcoin holds above $4k, it’ll cross its 200-day [moving average] by August, so I think the outside window is five to six months before it starts to look technically like it’s back in a bull market.”

This is an interesting assumption. Perhaps by that time the price will be around 10,000 and it will be very scary for everyone to buy BTC again, because it has already happened.

That's a very right decision. Because long time hold will give us big profits, so collect more assets to hold long time

I don’t restrict myself with these things, as I feel you can trade according to the situation demand. And I do just that but not by myself instead by using the Best EA (https://bestearobots.com/) in the market. And how to find that?

It’s all too easy via BestEARobots, a perfect place to figure out the Best Forex robot review. This is to me my Expert Advisor and with such stuff, you can find highly worthy and 100% automated live forex trading system, which then will enable one to make money and tons of it like I am already doing.

It depends or market situation , if you have some assets will be use for trade & market situation is GREEN. Go take some daily profit by trading it. Like me , can take 10-25$ profit from daily trading (If you have smart strategy too).
But if you have some assets will be use for invest and market situation is RED , go invest there and wait for that coin will pump again.

It depends on the market situation and the cryptocurrency value. As for me, I prefer using bolt fx broker (https://bolt-fx.com/) help to know more about recent news and investment opportunity.

I like short term more but I don’t have any fixed preference at all. I can trade according to any style as long as I need to do that in the given situation. I trade with FreshForex, which only simplifies the work for me since there are low spreads, high leverage, bonuses and several such benefits to work with.

I prefer long-term investments. However, I feel in the Crypto space, a few months is considered long-term. Usually, projects need some time to see real adoption and deliver major development updates. Minor pumps may happen in the time-span of just a week, but it takes, at minimum, a quarter or two to see some real progress.

I picked up a new coin called VEIL about 10 days ago and it's moved up from 26 cents to 31 cents since then. As a short-term trade, it's already quite good for me. However, I know the project team is working hard to deliver the most advanced privacy coin to date, and given that it's being led by the founder of PIVX, I expect some decent partnerships will roll out once development has progressed deeper into the roadmap. Considering these factors, I feel the upside potential of a long-term hold could be good.

So, you should do your own research in your holdings and see which one of them has a good upside potential.

I did not trade when I saw the market situation was empty of buyers.
trading requires the right time to buy and sell, new traders will choose coins such as BTC and the top 10 coins.
But with the ICO and the IEO the crypto trade has begun to change and investors who want to invest in new crypto coins and hope to hold coins for long periods of time.

if my opinion about investment in the long and short term for me is also good for both, because now the altcoin market price has also changed towards higher prices, so for me with investment in the short term it's also good to be an investment in trade altcoin, so I think it will also be easy to get a good income.

The old investment coin is to hold long time, while for the near future I choose a new coin or token to hold. Because coins or new tokens often pump in the near future

It doesnt matter short or long term as long as the coin that you invested has the potential then it could grow your money whatsoever. Just for example is veil, it has immense potential and it keep growing until now, ofcourse I dont know what future holds but
this coin just showing a really unexpected result as such being succesfull despite the competition that tighten.
Also the development seems steadily growing and as a result people have turn their attention into veil as one of the promising. Whether short or long term, if you choose the right thing then the outcome will be good.

Long term and Short term investment in crypto both are still good if you try to manage the risk of going into long term investment because you could gain and also lost, but for you to be satisfy you have carefully select some  valuable coins that you know that is already doing well and invest on it long or Short term

You can't really say that for all investment. Some are good for long term while others are short term it all depends on the market cap and potential of the coin, take for instance Veil which is a privacy coin which main aim is to solve the key problem in the privacy coin space  and privacy coins have done and it still doing well in the market. So investing long term there are some criteria that must be consider first don't just invest without thorough investigation of a project.

Both long and short time investment in crypto are good. Depending on the project you are investing on. For instance, I invested some couple of dollars in a project some few weeks ago. I have gotten over X3 of my investment. Veil rose from 0.1 to over 0.5 in a short term. If you do your analysis on this projects well, you'd be safe.

knowing a potential coins is incredible. I have lost and I have won. I was shocked how veil increased x4 above its initial market when I traded it on CITEX exchange. One of my happy investment within just short time. Long time and short time are both risk. Getting to know good coins pays more.

Short term investment can be a hit most times and can be very dangerous if you are not careful. Shit coins can give you a lot of profit on a short term basis if you are smart. Long term can actually secure your future if you choose the right coin.

When I trade or hold any coin, I put two things into consideration beside following trading charts. These are
1. Use case of the coin
2. The circulating supply of the coin.
With these two factors I have been able to trade safely just as I did with a coin called veil. Its supply though mineable is relatively very low for now and with a high demand for the coin due to its use case  I was able to make a good RoI in few weeks.

I will go for low supply coin with good volume that is listed on coinmarketcap , example is veil privacy coin, you can check details and you can use wallet for mining&staking for long time.

I think It totally depends on the funds you have to invest with. Like someone who has little funds can buy some cheap coins and hold for long term while someone who has more can do both. I have some coins I trade and some I keep for the long term. Coins such as Btc, ETH can be tradeable for short term but low cap gems like Veil, Arn are in my long term bags.

Actually there are a lot of coin choices for us to trade, but we have to look at how the project coin is, and supply it, then how is the volume, if it's good, it's better to use the coin

I do both,  I make sure i hit and run on projects that has no legitimate team members, advisors,  there is this coin a friend introduced to me of recent called Veil, This project has been listed on many exchange already and some are listed on CMC excluded those 3rd party app that can be used to buy and sell their coin. Imagine team's effort for conducting such marketing for external exchanges.

Investing on a good coins is better be it long or short. But most at times, condition of projects decides of which those with a bid trust do fail. To be I'm a fan of privacy coins and it never disappointed me. I can keep it long or short.

Definitely long term. I don't like to hit and run. It's easier to buy and hodl for long term and  save my time having to check coinmarketcap everyday, than to buy for short term and keep worrying about prices tanking. When investing either long or short, try to make you research and just choose coins with great team and strong communities, coins whose developers are true to their coins an example is Veil.

I agree with you. If one thinks of investing in Bitcoin or Monero for long term benefits, Veil should be considered too. They ma not be similar in architecture or attributes but they are all unique in characteristics with qualities that catches the investors eyes.  Veil is currently trading below 30 cents and I believe this is the time to make that buy

The best choice is actually in yourself, want to hold in the near future. Because all that also depends on our needs

I like both... each has it's own pros and cons
short term investment is easier, less riskier, but also with less potential profit... hit and run like you've said
longer term investment tries your nerves and is riskier...but can bring a lot of x's if you choose the project well
there are also two types of coins to be suited to each type of investment... the older, already established, less riskier coins.... and the new ones...
At this point I'm aiming to get some profit doing quick trades on established coins, like ADA, CVC, LTC, RVN, etc (not having much luck at the moment)
And filling bags of Beam, Veil, Veles, Zel,  for later trading (and hopefully profit)
cheers  ;)

for those who use trading as the main job short time investment is the right one while those who use trading only as a side job and as an investment to save assets can choose long investments. Both of them are very useful and promise big profits if handled by a reliable and great trader.

A truly successful trader is one who balances the investment. It should never be short term or long term alone. We have to balance to get results in long run. And I do that only with selecting options like Maya Preferred 223 (https://mayapreferred.io/), which has recreated records.

Not only it has become the FIRST and ONLY Cryptocurrency to be better than Bitcoin in price, but also the whole concept makes them so special. It all works towards the backing of Gold and Silver, which not only makes it a real deal but also something that’s going to be huge for the future! And the reason why I call it the Best Crypto (https://mayapreferred.io/) right now.

It's all depends on the thing that you want to invest surely and it is not something to be taken lightly especially if you are going for masternode or even heavier is kind of investment that locks up your fund. Though as for example I invested to veil for short term and consider long term if everything goes well, after all it is always up to you.

I don't think long investment is bad. If you reasonably trust the project, you may afford yourself to wait for a while to get more money. So, for me, everything depends on the certain platform. I scrutinize its technical documents to be sure that it's safe, then only I can make a long-term investment. Cyber security really matters. I want my transaction to be safe, and this is only possible when the platform is protected against attacks, like in CYBR solution.

I am both interested in long and short term investments. I have my coins that I hodl for long term like Veil, Icx and the others I use to trade and for short term gains like ETH, EOS. I think everyone should have such some long term holds, they mostly give good gains to compensate for the long hodl.
Title: Re: Short or long term investment
Post by: E4ourma on May 20, 2019, 11:37:37 PM
Definitely long term. Long term investment are the best because they give you up to 20x gain, depending on the price and which coins you bought. A coin like Veil, or Ont will give you massive gains if you hodl for long because they are very cheap coins. I suggest you make your research on undervalued project and invest for long term.

Short term, long term is tedious but you may also invest long term for projects that bear an interesting goal that will succeed in your view
