Title: Will the governments kill cryptocurrencies
Post by: yousufatik on December 13, 2018, 01:34:14 PM
Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?

It will never happen sure. Moreover, if you follow the news, you will see that many countries start to use the blockchain technologies. They support the cryptocurrencies although sometimes they take taxes for the crypto operations.

Government will never kill crypto currencies. And for sure they will accept crypto but it’s the matter of time, when we have something that can control crypto manipulation through multi nations, then government will take their lead

Are they really trying to kill crypto? Regulation isn't necessery bad thing. Current situation on market is tragic and governments just try to do something with this, because every economic downfall can affect them. As soon as they are not going to ban crypto (like China is trying to do witch ICO right now, here you have an article on blockchain24.co (https://www.blockchain24.co/beijing-security-token-offerings-may-be-illegal/) about it), it could be more helpful than harmful

Based on what I have seen they know they cannot stop cryptocurrency but they will delay the mass adoption as far as they can to accumulate more btc.

I hope they really don't kill cryptocurrency as I've gathered so far that they restricted cryptocurrency in other countries.

For me I want to believe that the government are just trying to prevent us from fraudulent projects and platforms that adds no value to us.

The government I think needs to the right balance to pass their message across

Of course not. I would rather believe that the government decides to make centralized cryptocurrency.

Firstly, I see you don't enclose the source of this news. Please write the source here to check whether it is valid news or FUDs only.
By the way, if you know about the countries, can you mention them? As far as I know, there are more countries that accept the existence both for crypto and blockchain. I don't hear yet about some countries that plan to fight them. Yeah, as you said above, some countries plan to embrace crypto and blockchain.

If for a centralized currency, maybe it will be regulated by the bank, and the government will only legalize it. Hopefully the decisions in all countries will make crypto more successful

One thing I think about.
If the government closes the door for cryptocurrency, the government will be left behind by developed countries that have renewable technology. I have seen many countries use the blockchain for government systems and if the government prohibits this technology, I think they have a lot of corrupt people in power

Agreed and with their support we will soon have laws or something like that to control the crypto, stop the volatility situation and make them more stable

In my opinion it's a game from the government, because bitcoin or crypto is free so the government thinks about how the people are left behind from the government, because if the government is out of date then a country or government is left behind from the community, thanks ...

The reasons why some government in some countries fight against the presence of cryptocurrencies are because they think that crypto is always related to terrorism. They think that crypto eases the terrorists to do the transaction around the world easily. Additionally, they are thinking of the stability of the country financial among their societies.

Well, seeing the two most reasonable conditions, some countries (in this case, not all countries) may try to fight against the crypto. They sometimes make certain law of rule and regulation to stop and forbid their citizen not to involve in crypto. They also ban some advertisement for crypto.

However, crypto is sometimes anonymous and this uses high technology. Everybody can access it with some tricks.

I think that there is only a small chance for the government to kill crypto because they can control all people in their countries not to involve in the crypto world precisely.

Because of the regulation, private cryptocurrencies will start to gain increasing popularity - for example, Securypto.  I very much doubt that the regulators will succeed in defeating cryptocurrencies.

I think that regulators will adapt and support crypto in the future, but the road to that future it will be a lot of difficult and hard thing for crypto to surpass

I don't that cryptocurrencies will be killed, government would rather introduce some regulations regarding crypto market. Imo it is so useful now, there won't be situation that some exchange suddenly disappear/collapse and all of the user's coins vanish. Regulations are needed to make everything safer

Cryptocurrency is not a mare project is a bigger project so killing it may not be so easy like that despite that there are so many fake cryptocurrency projects that been flooded the crypto industries that would have made the government to stop the existence of cryptocurrency.

I don't think the government will kill cryptocurrencies. They will have their own way to benefit from this industry, and when they can benefit from each other, I believe the government will not ban the development of this industry. And I believe that this industry will have good development prospects in the future.

I agree with this. If the blockchain industry grows, then they will EARN MORE TAXES. That's why they will not kill it.

It will not be that so easy for government to kill cryptocurrency, although there are many factors that may contribute or may stand as a key point that the government may use to kick against  the implementation of cryptocurrency in some countries because of so many scam report that happen in some part of the countries using cryptocurrency projects.

The government will always want to kill cryptocurrency but had been easy for their plans of stopping the existence of cryptocurrency although some countries government which means the authorities are banning the use cryptocurrency in their own region not actually the entire globe just a certain people.
