The whole idea was put together in 2008 but it wasn't mineable until 2009. I wonder if Satoshi really thought bitcoin would reach the high values we have today or if it was just a side experiment for fun. I would of been all over bitcoin if I heard about it back in those days but I suppose it's just bad luck. You would of had to known the right people or come across the newsletter somehow.

31 October 2008, 10 years ago, Satoshi Nakamoto published his seminal whitepaper and introduced Bitcoin to the world. If you've never read it, please take the time to do so. It's short and easy to read!

This 10th anniversary for Bitcoin and for crypto currency so sad when all of them are at the bottom line and struggling fighting to protect their support line. Hope the next anniversary will be a bull run with a better volume and market.

Looking at how is this whitepaper discreabe BTC and why BTC was invented and then looking at how BTC turn to be these days and how to became make me sad. BTC was meant to be a way to free people from the centralized payment methods and centralized currencies. And now BTC is just treated as an asset and as a way to increase the stash of the centralized money for the majority of people. Satoshi will be depressed if he sees how things turned out.

Just hope year by year, the cryptocurrency will got mass adopted and we can really use bitcoin in our real life to buy things, pay our real life fee and other things.
