Dependant on what cryptocurrency will be picked up by the majority market.

Looking at Mastercard (https://miningsky.com/2018/07/19/mastercard-x-cryptocurrency/), they are looking to take on the idea to have payment done via cryptocurrency. If the cryptocurrency is picked up, it will definitely survive. This is something major compared to other backings as this would allow the crypto to become mainstream.

I predict the top alt coins such as ETH, BTC Cash and others will be taken but that is just my prediction.

The tokens/coins that have real utility or a real project stands behind it which means 95%+ of current tokens/coins will vanish soon, I hope this happen very soon because that will help to take the money out of useless shitty tokens/coins and redirect it to the real useful tokens/coins it will give the market more credibility on the long run.

I think Altcoint will last a long time Ethereum, a lot of altcoints will appear, maybe in the next few years there will be some altcoints that will die, but I'm sure ethereum will be able to survive for a long time considering this coint has good potential  :)

It is very obvious that the top tier coins are the ones who will survive. If you check on it, they are the coins that has high demand in trading and product/services. The circulation is also at its peak for this coins. Coins at the very bottom doesn't have that much demand compared to top tier coins. Ripple could be the most aggressive coin when it comes to pricing. Ethereum won't let that happen so its a battle between the #2 spot.

I am certain in future as long as altcoin thinks about, the amount are going to be reduced as a result of most of the shitcoins can presumably crash as a result of them not be able to survive the crypto market however the legit ones will stay. i'm conjointly certain the speed at that altcoins are available are going to be reduced as a result of investors can solely have an interest in additional potential coins than in precisely anyhow coin.

You could try checking on ETC, Nano, Poliniex, Bittrex these are really worth investing coins with a very reasonable amount to invest on. Or much better if you regularly monitor the prices of the alternate coins in the coinmarket. You could make an analysis there regarding which coins you preferred the most.

EOS, XMR, and ETH will boom. I think the coin will be popular among investors, and it is estimated that the price of the coin will rise and increase. Although the price is currently decreasing, but the coin will rise high and certainly will benefit you if you have it.

Alts these days are like stocks. They have taken on characteristics of small businesses where the value of the coin asset is determined by the work the various teams are doing and the results being achieved. Therefore, I would say that so many alts will survive as long as they remain viable as a profit producing or value generating business.

Dependant on what digital money will be grabbed by the dominant part showcase.

Taking a gander at Mastercard, they are hoping to go up against the plan to have installment done through cryptographic money. In the event that the digital money is grabbed, it will endure. This is something major contrasted with different sponsorships as this would permit the crypto to end up standard.

I anticipate the best alt coins, for example, ETH, BTC Money and others will be taken yet that is only my forecast.

Definitely the dogecoin, this is the currency which will survive every crisis, because 1 doge = 1 doge ;)
And for this more "standard" coins... I think the top will be active for long time. Coins like ETH have really comfort situation and I don't think it will change. Ether itself is still the second most popular cryptocurrency (here you have an interesting article about it on Blockchain24.co (https://www.blockchain24.co/ether-the-young-bitcoin/)) and I don't think it will loose its position

I keep my fingers crossed for FuturoCoin. It has only one year but they're team have already achieved cuch goals like partnership with F1 (here you have news about it on FuturoCoin (https://newsroom.futurocoin.com/new-currency-for-aston-martin-red-bull-racing/) website). I hope this coin won't collapse like many other altcoins because it have a great potential

I hope so too, they are definitely worth watching. Recently they got themselves into some verification issues, but now they doing just fine. Like you said that F1 deal was cute, but they focused on some real stuff and joined a trend of getting on worldwide exchanges.

I think , on my analyst.. for now altcoin can survive with this condition which bitcoin price going up and down sometimes is BNB because Binance on every month now always launced new IEO on their Binance LaunchPad and using BNB as payment for IEO there , also IEO investors will buy BNB for participate on next IEO
So, I think if you not interest to join IEO there.. you can earn "quick profit" by BNB trading , I'm called "take advantages of that moment"

Of course those from the top 10 ranking are most likely to survive, but i think that ethereum will have strongest position after a while. I also keep my fingers crossed for zcash, and i really like dash. Also for FuturoCoin, a dash based cryptocurrency, especially now they should get better, cause all factors indicates that they are preparing a fork - even though there is no official info yet, on their medium (https://medium.com/futurocoinfto/to-understand-a-hard-fork-4d12625e9101), you can find an article with an explanation of what hard fork is, which is clear to me that they are up to something.

Im just thinking if the privacy coin that will survive in the future. We have a lot of problems with privacy and it's not yet resolved. the privacy coin will bring back the real implementation of the blockchain itself and its decentralized point. Veil can become an example of how the best privacy coin will work.

Altcoin will survive based on how useful it to the community, privacy coin like veil that offers so many features that will keep the privacy of the users will always survive. The point of decentralized is not only to avoid the decentralized but about how it can provide more privacy to the users.

Your question is way too broad. Note that while BTC exists primarily as a store of value and a medium of payment, other coins exist to deliver other value-additives.

When it comes to alts, the smart contract chains take up most of the headlines. Ethereum, NEO, EOS, and Tron are fiercely competing to be the chains that enable the smart cities of the future. They may someday face stiff competition from new launches like Zilliqa. Smart contracts offer a solution to wide for just one chain to dominate the entire sector. It's highly unlikely that just one blockchain will take over all smart contract solutions. There's a higher chance that these chains end up differentiating themselves, and this is already visible in the case of Tron, which has quickly become a blockchain for gambling. Meanwhile, EOS may have a lot of gambling applications, but it also hosts some very creative games.

Then you get enterprise blockchains. These entail some form of sidechain solution to stem off private chains for enterprises to maintain the security of their proprietary data. This space isn't that competitive yet but there are some high-flying competitors here like LTO, aergo, and LITION.

Of course, privacy coins are in a league of their own, and it certainly is possible to offer better privacy than the competition. No single coin is there yet but there's a lot of development in this space. Some commenters have already mentioned VEIL, which is an example of a privacy coin that's going through some fast-paced development. While Monero and Dash are leading the way, developments in the Zerocoin Protocol could deliver the best priivacy coin to date. Veil's development team is trying to advance the Zerocoin Protocol such that it integrates the best aspects of existing privacy coins. Like Zcoin, VEIL uses Zerocoin Protocol so it leaves no means of traceability. However, unlike Zcoin, VEIL integrates Monero's RingCT technology on its Basecoins, and that allows VEIL to have privacy on both the Zerocoin transactions and the Basecoin transactions.

To sum up, the question should be trimmed towards which altcoins will survive in various value-additives that blockchain technology can provide.

The top 100 coins in Coinmarketcap will be the first to survive, after seeing various altcoins appear with the same idea, then at that time I thought the new project gave a little change to the previous project and that it had, it would be great if we looked at the progress of this year's cryptocurrency, but many altcoins will die and only coins like ETH, WAVES, Tron and coins continue to develop their technology that will last.

Top altcoins with high volumes and strong community will be the potential altcoins to survive and keep growing in the future. The quality of the team and the project's products also have big influences to make the altcoins to continue their existence. With so many competitors and big challenges on crypto market, the altcoins must have something special to survive.

It is indeed that the volume of the coin plays a huge role to decide whether a coin should still be listed or just being delisted, but the project development is also have a huge role aswell to keep the volume or even increase the volume simply.
For example veil a project that has no ICO nor premine neither but keep on striving increasing its volume and it seems that they are growing really well because their development is well executed.
It's commitment and proof that make project such as veil success.

I was wondering which alts do people think will survive? Which ones will gain traction when this crypto winter ends? Which ones have a use that will be taken up by the mainstream? Thanks  ;D
Theres so many altcoins out there and its very hard to predict which coin will survive this crypto winter. But one thing for sure that there are too many altcoins in the market who don't have real use-case will die and stop their development.

Top altcoins with high volumes and strong community will be the potential altcoins to survive and keep growing in the future. The quality of the team and the project's products also have big influences to make the altcoins to continue their existence. With so many competitors and big challenges on crypto market, the altcoins must have something special to survive.
I agree with you, altcoin with large volumes will always live and continue to grow. Because people will always make transactions on the altcoin, both old users and new users

In my opinion a lot of coins will survive, the market is becoming bigger and bigger so there will be more coins in time. Even these cryptos which are brand new have opportunity for economic ( masternode system (http://link https://newsroom.futurocoin.com/big-changes/) ) and social development like FuturoCoin. FTO is still moving forward

That's for certain, but what's required to be able to survive in the market? it's a good team, good volume, good listing and good development. Coin like veil for example, what makes it so strong and keep growing is the fact that their progression is awesome, they have top notch team and they also have really good community that strengthen their volume in the exchanges as well as the listing. So I think coin that is good like veil could hold on.

My answer is Ripple because the price of its is really low now, could make a huge break and increase when the market continues to sideway

Definitely. even a new developed coin or atleast a new comer could have the potential to eat up bitcoin's portion away anytime so I think that the idea of a coin stands above any other is just absurd from the start.
Coin like veil that has hyped up recently also has its own spotlight that its current trend is growing up and being bigger and bigger, there's no such thing as bitcoin will only be the one that stand unless we live in a monarchy.

Altcoins that is going to survive is bitcoin and etherum and many other coins that already have value in cryptocurrency market and those altcoins that are listed among top 10 alts in coinmarketcap but we still have other altcoins that are coming up that are expected to survive.

Which alts will survive?, I can categorically tell you that a lot of alts will survive, but to know the ones that will survive and give lots of gains,
Check the technology behind it or rather still what is the project trying to solve?, The moment you can find a solution to the question, you would feel it in your guts if this alt will survive, check #veil out and let me know what you think

I disagree with that, not all the top 100 will survive. If you look back to two or three years back coinmarketcap rating you will discover that some if not most of the top 50 coins are not among the top 100 presently.
One thing is certain as time goes new and improved technology continue to emerge and technology used by some of these coins are considered obsolete and new projects will capitalise on that by using this modern technology to build projects that offer users more accurate, and user friendly products and services and as well offer solutions to the challenges and flaws found in the previous projects, just like what veil network is doing within the privacy coins.

I strongly agree with you, you wouldn't be so sure about the top 100 coins that they will survive in this crypto winter. There are still strong coins in the top 100 market that will suffer from problems around the space. Number one example is legalities and bankruptcy, I have seen some strong projects that reports that the gonna stop development because of that.

Those altcoins that have real usecase and active team will surely survive in the market and they are already doing that. When you look at some altcoins like neo, bnb, litecoin, veil network you will understand no matter how bad the ecosystem becomes, with their sound technology and innovative team they will surely survive.

but if for a centralized coin I hold XRP because of the toughest opponent ETH at CMC I am sure these two coins will master CMC in the future and are suitable for investing in the right future

As for me, altcoins can send you back to village if proper care isn't taken. Reason while am choosy when it comes to selecting altcoins to invest in. Privacy coins doing well. I know majority privacy altcoins such as Veil would do well. Dash and monero not doing bad either.

depends on what you consider surviving
a ton of alts have dropped over 70 percent within the last few months, triggering tons of stop-losses that were long forgotten about
then again, buying those drops might be a wise choice, as even a x2 return is amazing.

Even a crypto analyst can't really predict which altcoin will at a long run, it boils down to project functionality, market cap take veil for example. Veil is a privacy coin and privacy coins are having good prospect in the cryptocurrencies space. Veil is aiming to repair the cracks causes by comprised privacy in blockchain. That being said I think veil is one of the good ones that will definitely survive the long eun

Hmmm we can't be 100% certified but if I must say Veil will likewise survive this current bear market because “is still the best use case for blockchains, and the demand for private transactions will never go away. Private transactions are really important and will always have a demand from the market. Contrary to mainstream talking head nonsense, they serve more important use cases than “buying drugs on the internet.” In fact, private transactions preserve fungibility and protect free speech.

I think, just like many other people here, that Ethereum and Bitcoin will survive. When it comes to another coins it is difficult to predict, the market is in good situation right now but we don't know what it will look like in a year or two. Maybe websites like https://www.cryptogamble.com/casino?category=Livecasino (https://www.cryptogamble.com/casino?category=Livecasino) might have some troubles right now due to resticting crypto regulations, but it concerns not only crypto gambling, but every crypto business too.

coin like veil is what i'd call a dark horse in this current time because how fast it's growing its community.

Coins that have good community backing them up, good Dev and team that keep constant communication with their community, coins that have lower total and circulating supply, coins that has more of holders that day traders, scalers.. These are the coins I feel will survive. NEO, VEIL, LTC are examples of such coins.

An Altcoin which has regular update and development plan and which team are very passionate with their works and aim, those altcoins will survive! If you ask me to tell their names then the list will be very long! But I can mention a couple of good altcoins name which is trending most right now. The altcoins which will survive they are ETH, LTC, ADA, NEO, XLM, ZIL, ONT, BAT, ICX, AION, WAVES, BNB, PIVX, XMR VEIL and so on.

You may ask why I pick VEIL in this list, yes it is a new coin but still, it has a strong team and its CEO is a very hard working man who believes in works, not in words! Therefore VEIL is upgrading every month and everything seem very perfect.
