With the wide array of altcoins available in the crypto market, how do you choose which one to invest on, which one to buy and which of these altcoins worth holding? :(

New coin are coming out everyday by day and this as made crypto look more like crowded but we still have room for more because this is just about decade since crypto started.

Before I invest to an altcoin I usually make some research about it. But investing on some popular altcoins now are also a good choice while their prices are still down.

i think u should focus with coin, with your cryteria.
like new coin with one million supply,or new coin with big comunity, also price under 1$.
we can't predict about future price, but we will happy with our coin favorite.

Nowadays many altcoints have sprung up, we should be able to choose which ones are potentially, the simplest way to ask more experienced people, choose altcoints with good prospects.

Based on good technology off-course, I mean looking for source code and try to grasp the essence of innovation or a novel idea. That is the first criteria. Hype is number 2. Big money investor is number 3.

last year, some one told me 90% altcoins will die, at that time i didn't believe, but now i changed my thinking :-[

What was stable turbulence that u talking about? BTC is stable. Fiat is not. When u look at the bigger picture, you have seen in 9 years stable growth of BTC to fiat by thousand %.
Because of what? We need to learn buy something with BTC, and leave that useless fiat alone.

In 2018 year, it's a year of altcoin, but, altcoin so much, but not grow up in the future, if it shit coin, don't worry about it, it's ok.

Yeah, Crypto is also about survival of the fittest. Those projects that not being competitive enough they will fall behind and it will cause also to project to die.

Before investing in any altcoins You need to have a look at the history of this coins and their team whether they are follow the roadmap or not then consider the functionality of coins and the trading volume

Yeah, Because sometimes even we can see the hard work of the team to the project some of them still turning to scammed and it's really hard to trust some alts now.

I would even say 98.8% of them arent really giving or contributing new Innovation but rather just copying others project idea to get a market share but they arent totally worth of to invest.

Well there are too many altcoins, so I usually invest in those coin in the top 100 on coinmarketcap. I believe in these coin more.

Even in top 30 a lot of scam tokens, and some undervalued coins which are situated under top 30 can bring you a huge profit in the future. So dont buy blindly, always do your own resesrch

Yes, i think it's true. But at this time, when the market is red, i can not find any good altcoin for investment. Just hold BTC and ETH only :'(

You are quite right - there are too many altcoins, and too many of them will not survive - too much competitors that are stronger very often. But buying only top coins you may loose different other opportunities, very often some altcoins become unpredictably the top coins as a result. But of course you should learn everything in details before earning something.

thanks for the advice, i was lost in the altcoins matrix, because i lost so much money for crypto this year, i don't know how can i do now :'(

Yeah there is a lot of Altcoin right now and CMC already have 2k Altcoin and of course it will increase day by day. But to find the good altcoin is to do research from the first. check their product, check their roadmap, cheir their team mate and their advisor and the last their community. after you research them you can decided which one is best.

I agree, the choice is very wide, so everyone will find an adequate coin for themselves. The prices of particular cryptos are not so high at the moment, access to information is really easy, I think some of altcoins won't exist in the feature, but the rest of them will be strong

exactly top 100 is too much, my strategy is too invest in top 30 thats leaving Top 10 on coinmarketcap and focusing on the 11th coin to 41st coin. i know more coins are still coming but not all will survive.

That's right, there are so many altcoins now born, even too many can't count to thousands of altcoins that are created so we can't remember their names. but with the number of coins that appear this shows that the crypto world is growing rapidly.

I will choose altcoins that have been registered in coinmarketcap and many people are trading. I will buy xrp and will hold ethereum and bitcoin in the next few years.

Considerable amount of altcoins will vanish away because they lack purpose and vision
It is up to investors to dyor and get solid projects capable of surviving the long run if you are a long term hodler

This is part of the crypto-evolution. We need to remember that the whole market is still very young and immature, there is a huge evolution yet to be made.
Eeryday new Altcoins are born and some others die out, and new coins bring some new features or use cases, and older cons also evolve and update... it is a dynamic ecosystem...
Bear markets bring balance to the crypto scene and exterminate a lot of useless alts...
Take privacy coins for example, the older privacy coins like Zcash or Monero are adapting and updating, while a new generation of evolved contenders have arrived to solve a few problems that still exist, like Veil project or Beam... only time will tell which reaches a greater adoption level

Although veil is still growing it's already starting to show its potential just like what you said, ETH and BTC also currently have its time enjoying the pump which definitely steal people's attention.
There's no doubt though if this keep happening we will see a new ATH which is definitely a good thing.

I just look at Top-10, I won't go down top-10 cause there are high risks of losing everything after investing especially after 2018

Choosing top 10 is good but from my opinion the risk involved is as the same as chosing unpopular altcoin with potential like veil for example if you can choose the right altcoin, however popular altcoin tend to be less fluctuative simply because their volumes are big

Many think like you, but there's a problem that some of the unpopular altcoins have good potential, and almost nobody pays attention to them

I invest in altcoins by seeing the team and community activity, products and use cases! A lot of high-rank coins doesn't have a team activity. Like the VERI coin! No admins care about this coin but yet it is growing day by day and it's CMC rank pretty high! So, before investment, rank is not the main factor to give them a priority! I research the team and their past work, their activity, working roadmap, whitepaper and what community thinks about that project and then I choose to invest! Recently I chose the VEIL coin to invest and I very much confident that I am doing the right investment!

Doing your own research is good if you are capable, otherwise it will be a big mess but following someone else's advice could lead your financial to calamity aswell, that's why I think you need to learn first and then doing research. I've
researched myself aswell and I think still holding onto BTC and ETH however there's altcoin thats interesting aswell and that's probably veil and insureum

I agree with ETH but not really sure with Veil since there is a lot of spam posts about it. I suggest you invest in top coins only, those are the most promising coins to increase their values in the near future. But for sure you have your own view, you can choose what you think better.

My choices are based on my friend's recommendations. He's kinda pro at crypto and so far his predictions were correct. So as for now, I invest in FuturoCoin and Stellar.

Yes, too many altcoins but most of the altcoins are valueless! So, an only potential token which has a strong team and working roadmap those coins will stay forever. Personally, I think All of the top ranks coins will be stay and also privacy coins Pivx, Veil, Zcash will stay, So, I will hold them! otherwsie maximum altcoins will be dead!

I have checked myetherwallet,i think there are close to one hundred shitcoins in it. Most of these cryptocurrency tokens i have received from airdrops and have no value at all OR the value is too low to transfer and sell Them.

All you need to do to get to know the best altcoin to invest is to take your time to search through the different platform with a list of different project, research all possible altcoin to know the ones that are good enough for investment.

It is a must to do research or analysis before we buy certain coins. It will determine whether our assets will gain profits or lead to losses. If we do bad research or even without research, there is a high possibility to get losses. That's why it is a must to provide it at the early step on collecting assets.

I agree, there are more and more coins at the market. It is obvious that some of them are worthless and will disappear over time. But the rest of them may have economic potential and despite lower value people will persuade them. It is okey to buy some stronger ones, but weaker altcoins are great option too, everything depends on the situation at the market
