Blockchain technology platform DECENT, in partnership with Dragonfly, a distribution platform for games, today announces the launch of ALAX, a project that is already in development, will use blockchain to improve the speed and efficiency of app sales.

DECENT has developed a proprietary blockchain platform called DCore which will help Dragonfly reduce costs, tackle piracy issues, and speed up exchange rates and payment processing.

Traditionally, to buy games or apps, users had to use PayPal, credit cards, or make payments using prime rate SMS, where mobile network operators would take 50-70% commission from the price paid by the user for an app/game. This becomes especially problematic in countries where the primary method of payment is via SMS. With ALAX, payments can be made directly to the developer using ALAX tokens. This reduces the prices for content for gamers, and expedites the transaction. Game developers can then exchange the ALAX tokens for a FIAT currency (USD, EUR, THB, PHP..) at any time.

Since all the transactions are recorded in the blockchain, developers will have a precise overview of the sales of their games, and be able to ensure they are getting a fair deal. It will not only increase the confidence of game developers but also keep up with the ever-increasing demand for game sales – which is currently at 2000 transactions per second and expected to grow to 7000+ in the coming years....

Even though February is the shortest month of the year, DECENT was able to accomplish quite a lot in just 4 weeks! The blockchain company has put forward a monthly overview which highlights some of their accomplishments, events & milestones.

Starting with their technical achievements, DECENT made several big announcements and released a DCore technical roadmap, the first of its kind for DECENT which was actually written by developers and explained their focus on improving infrastructure and making DCore accessible for mass adoption.

In reference to the road map, DECENT is already ahead of schedule with the updated version of working API and SDK documentation. The updated webpage is dedicated for DCore technical documentation with loads of important information for miners, developers and anyone looking for insights into the technical nature of DCore.

This month DECENT also began implementing a web voting tool for miners and the design for a new website is coming along smoothly. They are looking at outsourcing the development to reduce the load on their inhouse team....

ALAX, a global mobile game distribution platform which enables game developers to access over a hundred million users finished its Token Generation Event. From Tuesday, April 17 until Monday, April 23, the project was aiming to stir up the world of blockchain and the mobile gaming industry. The participation, during those 6 days, was adequate and it kept a stable pace.

There were 300’000’000 ALX tokens dedicated to two rounds of the ALAX TGE. As the whitepaper stipulates, there won’t be any burning and all those tokens are going to be distributed to the TGE participants on a pro-rata principle. Based on the results, every participant is eligible for a 10% bonus and those who contributed with DCT coins will receive an extra 10% bonus.

In total, ALAX raised $3’832’493.8 (according to coinmarketcap rates on Monday, April 23, 2018). With no soft cap set, the project would have continued no matter what amount was collected.

The ALX token is going to hit various exchanges, starting with QRYPTOS, followed by YoBit, CREX24 and Coinbene. The team is completing the TGE data in order to generate and distribute the tokens by that time. A major partnership is Egretia, the blockchain lab of Egret Technology. Beijing-based Egret Technology offers HTML5 mobile solution and services for games and application professionals. It provides various solutions for HTML5 game studios and developers such as game engine Egret Engine, which is used by over 70% of H5 game developers. A total of 200k users developed more than 8,000 H5 games based on their services.

Egretia cooperates with Egret Technology’s overseas partners and develops blockchain-related technologies on their behalf. The first product from Egretia is the eponymous HTML5 blockchain engine and platform, which will allow all HTML5 games powered by Egretia engine and tools to easily access the blockchain. Developers can then quickly create HTML5 games and application easily. With this LOI, ALAX is now part of Egretia as the payment solutions for game developers, of which there are 130,000 worldwide....
