Bitcoin is becoming mainstream, that’s a fact. And it is little wonder that nowadays the cryptocurrency is even mentioned by people being seemingly too far from it.

You can also look at the trading volume compared to 2 years ago and today, where have we got to. Also the many new trading platforms (like PrimeXBT, etc..) that give opportunity for swapping your crypto or leverage it for the more experience ones.

Yes, Bitcoin and other currencies are trying to become known worldwide. Awareness of crypto is rising in public opinion, there are more and more places where you can pay with cryptocurrencies, which is the best way to "accustom" people to this device. Some currencies are dedicated mostly for target group who doesn't know about crypto before (like FuturoCoin for example, they're doin many things to "connect" their currency with institutions known for everyone, like they did with partnership with Formule 1: https://newsroom.futurocoin.com/lets-start-the-season/)

It's not fashionable, it's just most popular coin and most of the traders still don't buy it.

The number of users of cryptocurrencies is rising every month, and there is still plenty to seek. Fashionable? I would rather say "trendy" than "fashionable". The interest in cryptoworld is rising, due to it's specific character i think. Cryptocurrencies are not just an exchange market, where you can make a huge profit in a short period of time, I think it's bigger than that. I don't want to come into ideology stuff here in this thread, but if we look at this technology, at blockchain it's truly revolutionising our world right now. Decentralisation, gives are more independent economic world, cryptocurrencies are becoming a mean of payment, and it can  function without traditional banking system. It's not a trend, it's an evolution for me. This is why you have an opportunity to witness great development of platforms like CryptoGamble  (https://www.cryptogamble.com/casino?category=Video_Slots)which at first seems bizzare - who would have thought that cryptocurrencies and gambling could become such a perfect fit for each other?

that gives you real opportunity to pay with your cryptocurrency for your meal in a restaurant (https://newsroom.futurocoin.com/next-futurenet-restaurant-is-already-open/). BTW i've also heard that there are planning a fork soon, but i couldn't find any offcial info anywhere.

I've also read something about it, but I haven't found any info too. Looks like we have to wait for official statement

I am not sure that this word can be used in such a situation. Fashion is different in different countries and cities. I am a traveler and I can show you a lot of such examples like Cambodia(you can check their website with clothes and accessories http://caraweb.org/ (http://caraweb.org/) ) and understand how it differs from yours. And bitcoin is an international currency. It will be always in trend.

I think fashionable word is not the exact word for bitcoin. Bitcoin is the popular coin due to its blockchain technology.

This time should be counted in years. Minimum 5 years to a decade. This is my expectation.

Gucci handbags are fashionable and the hype around crypto is a whole different thing...

Talking about handbags, I, for one, really like Gucci but I find them pretty expensive. Although, I have some in my collection. So, why I asked. After I read this site (https://www.mau-fashion.com/gucci-replica/) about Gucci replicas I'm thinking of trying to find decent replicas. It's said that you can find fake accessories at very affordable prices and you won't even spot that something's wrong. What are your thoughts on this? Is it like getting shitcoins to your portfolio for fun or it's a legit thing?

I expect this, no sooner than 2025. People need time to find out, about new things.

Some time ago some people don't really find it comfortable when they hear the Name bitcoin because of doubt thinking that is not actually real but some have taking the advantage of it because bitcoin has become popular.
