Hi everybody !
I did a TOP 10 with some of the best Cryptocurrency Exchanges. It's actually a bit difficult to do a TOP 10, because you can find Fiat exchanges, Alt-coins exchanges or also peer to peer exchanges. I added some details and explanations to each exchange, as they are more or less easy to understand for beginners.

I will try to add the trading/deposit/withdrawal fees for each exchange.
I tried to rank them by taking in account different factors, such as reputation -how trustful they are-, market volume, fees, how easy to understand the platform is..
I'm thinking of removing Paxful, but I wanted to diversify the type of exchanges.
What do you think about it ? Should I add Poloniex, BitStamp, Livecoin, Kraken to the TOP 10 ? Should I remove some ?

Be careful with coinexchange.io there are no informations on the site about the owner of the site. Also a lot of scam coins were listed there.... maybe it is a big scam under cover of a exchange.

I use binance, bittrex and yobit. All three work well, small delays in withdrawing money were only with bittrex.

I think top 3 are certainly not debatable. As per rest, I do like Bittrex but right now I am using KuCoin (https://www.kucoin.com/#/?r=1b7av), as I put it as a very HOT property not because of the exchange part but because of being a Cryptocurrency themself.
It makes them such highly potential thing, and should be used confidently. At least, I am on for doing that and it really makes me feel comfortable with their reasonable fees and many bonuses as well.

I have used poloniex,bittrex and yobit. Will not use poloniex again due to poor admin response. Started using kucoin. Will binance be closed by Chinese authorities?

When registrations on Binance are closed, I suggest you to use Gate.io (https://gate.io/signup/787814) !

I didn't use CoinExchange yet, but I haven't heard any complains about it being a scam.
But yes, many scam and shit coins are listed on this Exchange.

Bitmex: One of the whales of Cryptocurrency exchange. You can do margin trading, if that’s your thing.

Hi, any thoughts on CoinDeal?
I've recently seen a couple of articles about this exchange and I'd like to get some opinion. I've only become interested in cryptocurrencies recently and I would like to hear what more experienced bitcoin fans think about it :)
Last three months I was trying CoinDeal out. The most surprising thing about this exchange platform is of course rapidity of its development. CoinDeal has organized 5 votes and implemented plenty of new cryptos.. We need to remember it`s a new exchange but for me it aspires to be one of the biggest platforms. For me the major thing when it comes to choosing exchange platform is safety of my funds. CoinDeal gets the job done in this topic

In my opinion bitrex is the currently the best and I am using them for most of my trades. Only when I need to trade some less known altcoin I use cryptopia, yobit, CoinExchange, NovaExchange and even etherdelta for some tokens. But on those other exchencges I never leave to much money.

The contract is designed so that no action can be taken with the customer's funds without the customer's explicit request. Owners of the exchange have no access to customer funds. Also you can integrate metamask dapp and trade without creating wallet on exchange

Idex is also good DEX exchange beside of forkdelta.

Coinbase has very high volume.. which is great because it reduced significantly the spread (difference between buy and sell orders). Try to check the volume of the exchange you will use, if it is high, that's good. Another thing is to see if you're able to deposit there anything without submitting any KYC (your country might to be excluded from creating an account), so make sure to check on that

Yes, I totally do. I wanna get a VIP Monfex account with $1000. And really interested in exclusive trading strategies that they promise. I already invited more than 50 people there, but i still not in the VIP list..What about you?

Yes CoinBase and Binance are the basics to begin with. Both are secure, legit and easy to use. Everything you need when starting with crypto but also for people with more experience.

Yobit is awful, never try to trade in there. Giant commissions, pump and dump scums, the even own financial pyramid, witch collapsed not so long ago. Better try to trade on some DEX. I personally trade on Ethermium (https://ethermium.com). Nice DEX with market and stop orders. Time of centralized exchanges is past.

Yep Binance is the best exchange, but they don't have all the cryptocurrencies, so sometimes we need to use other exchanges as well !

Better to check at CoinMarketCap. I myself use Binance, KuCoin, and BitMart. They are both top rank exchanges with high reputation and so far I feel perfect. Recommend to you guys!

Guys, what do you think of CoinDeal? I was looking for an place to buy PRiVCY and it turns out that they had added it to CoinDeal's market (https://frontend.coindeal.com/market/trade.html?pair=PRIV%2FBTC) just day ago. I've started checking this exchange and it looks like they are adding new coins regularly. What was your experience with it?

For me I really like Huobi because they have a friendly support team that work 24/24 and willing to support us. I used to contact them at 11pm because my passport is not clear enough so they accepted my video call KYC for me, very quick and easy

Yes I also vote for Huobi too. They got a good exchange and a feature call Huobi wallet where we can send or receive coin directly without the need of confirmation between two wallet

In the past I also use Bittrex too but now seem like Bittrex can’t compete with other strong exchanges like Binance or Huobi or Bitfinex. Bittrex volume is going down every day because of more and more people left it

I agree with this, I don't use bittrex anymore because they cant compete with other exchanges like binance, huobi or okex. Very low volume on bittrex.

I like Gemini a lot better than Coinbase for crypto to fiat or fiat to crypto trades... it seems to have lower fees than Coinbase.

I agree, I already used top exchanges but I think that Binance is the best one out of them. And in fact, that it have a high volume and low trading fee if you use binance coin as a trading fee.

Totally agreed, Binance is also my lovely exchange and I put most of my funds here. Another good is Bittrex but now Bittrex is going down in volume but it always list many new token

You don't need to use a lot of different crypto exchanges unless you are looking for specific cryptocurrencies !
I would advise you to add Huobi (https://www.huobipro.com/en-us/topic/invited/?invite_code=r2823) and Gate.io (https://gate.io/signup/787814) to your exchanges, both are good and legit, and you can find cryptocurrencies that are not on Binance or CoinBase.

Yes, Huobi is one of the most best exchange in the cryptospace or I must say the best exchange but not in terms of volume.

Good information but this status changed after every few months as many new exchanges are coming and grabbing pie of investors from one exchange to other.

For BTC, I'll be sticking with $2500, and anything lower than that is a total catastrophe. We now see that Bakkt has reached its initial funding stage goal, though the federal government shutdown of US might affect its launch date, and would, once again be postponed until god knows when.

I use Bittrex, Kucoin, and sometimes Binance. There are smaller and new exchanges I also use from time to time. Cryptopia was also fine before it got hacked

BitBTC and Tradesatoshi are two exchanges that I often use, actually I choose exchanges depending on where I am trading coins. But be more careful when storing your crypto assets. Because exchanges are often hacked.

you are right, i agree binance has a biggest volume transaction, if you great trader you can make lot profit from this exchange.

but right now I'm not using them anymore, because some time ago I made a deposit, but it took 24 hours to get into their exchange

I agree, binance is the best choice right now. They are very popular with day traders as well as scalpers. And it have a massive volume compare to other exchanges.

I use Bittrex, Kucoin, and sometimes Binance. There are smaller and new exchanges I also use from time to time. Cryptopia was also fine before it got hacked

Most of the Top50 or even Top100 cryptocurrencies are on Binance and with high volume, so no wonder it's number one

Is the information on this thread still up to date? I see this thread was created on October 18, 2017. I am worried one or several of them have been no longer being the top 10 best crypto exchanges.

a lot of people are trying to avoid having to submit identification documents while in the midst of purchasing btc or trading, seems it seems a bit antithetical to what a lot of people felt bitcoin was supposed to represent.
coinbase definitely requires identifying yourself and they've been on the news consistently for turning over customers info to the taxation agencies.
Nice informative site but I would not touch coinbase.

In 2019, I personally like Bitfinex and Prime XBT - mainly because I like trading with leverage and shorting (Bitfinex offers 3.3x leverage and PrimeXBT offers anywhere from 1x to 100x).
Bitfinex provides a greater selection of altcoins and pairing options, has good liquidity, and is reliable. Whereas, because Prime XBT offers such high leverage it only features the top 5 in market cap - being more predictable, thus less risky. It also has excellent liquidity and is reliable. These things are very important to me.
So I’ll typically use Bitfinex for bull runs and higher risk trades (more obscure altcoins), basic ‘buy low - sell high’, and Prime XBT for bear and sideways trending markets to maximize small price movements.
Both offer advanced trading strategies, tech analysis tools, and a highly customizable UI. Prime XBT’s platform is the easier one of the two to use, however, less experienced traders should opt for lower leverage, to begin with as they develop their skills.
Bitfinex fees are fair, between 0.1% to 0.2% (the more you trade the lower the fee). Prime XBT takes a flat fee of only 0.05% on all trades and all assets.
Possible restrictions for Bitfinex: they do require KYC and a minimum deposit the equivalent of $10,000 USD to use the platform - which can be difficult starting out. Prime XBT: no KYC and their minimum deposit is only around $5.

And top 1 for now I think is binance or maybe bittrex ? Because I see "real demand" there , not bot trade

The post was created in 2017 but it's still updated, many new exchanges, and many of these new exchanges have fake volume.
Binance and Bittrex are both in the Top 10.

I use binance,bittrex & kucoin since 1 year. Recently i shift some of my capital in Koinpro. Here(Koinpro) you canTrade Crypto and Stock CFD With Bitcoin.
Binance is still the main exchange I use, but currently I use the Bingbon exchange, which has many interesting functions such as copy trade, CFDs.

almost these are well known exchanges, and you make a good list with related information, But i think you should consider Kucoin in this list and here is also i want to mention a Unique Future trading exchange where not only crypt but stokes trading pair is also available.
