That's why it is not safe to have funds on exchanges. You should keep them in a wallet that you control. Decentralized exchanges are better.

I find it weird how sudden the decision to close Bitmarket was. Like, there were no signs (at least I didn't notice anything).

OMG that was weird.. how can they do like that?? Seriously decentralized market is better than a centralized market..

It is time to move on to decentralized markets and atomic swaps. I think that the time for centralized exchanges is over. They had their role in cryptocurrency early days, and they will become a thing of the past.
